That was great! Everything felt really high quality, and it melded together a bunch of things seamlessly as a perfect set up for the rest of the show. We got briefed on character personalities, family, background, place, goals. Well-paced and pleasant and none of it felt forced. This is already my AotS.

Very nice to see you do a show / all the hard work you do!

It's nice to see a baseball anime among the simulcasts this season Good first episode too.

I can't personally relate to the drama or relationships except for maybe with the grandfather, but the atmosphere is extremely reminiscent to when I played baseball, visiting the Japanese side of my family, practicing around their neighborhood, then eating together as the day ends.

Ace of the Diamond reminded me of my high school days, so it's kind of nice to see a series that reminds me of when I was even younger. Looking forward to more!

Battery EP 1

Takumi conceit toward KO / GO ( even social stataus ) even his own brother kinda made me cringe a bit. It's an often used trope. Have to watch more !

The grandfather is wise about baseball

Episode 1

That was pretty nice. Ko is the type of guy you like to be around. Always motivating others, fun to talk to, and is willing to grow alongside you despite the experience gap.

The visuals look nice so far, liking the little mini mountain setting. Animation is cool and the sound effects of the baseball was done pretty well with the "cutting air" sound effects.

Looking forward to see some games, potential drama and fall out cause this looks like it will be a good one. Mostly setting up relationships and tone for the show and it has me hooked.

Excited for more.

I just signed up for Prime this week ... well not becuase of this lol

I was watching without the subtitle and I actually was understanding it but i turn it on anyway

Anyway... I really like this show, its taking its time to develop the story along with its characters like Cheer Danshi but its deeper storywise.....animation and visuals are very nice. I like Uchiyama in his role. I like listening to the OKAYAMA ben dialiect or slang

Episode 2

I was happy when Takumi called the moms stupid. Unsupportive parents are the worst, plus I can't believe that they would leave it to a kid to crush their son's dreams. Obviously Gou will continue to play, but I do hope Seiha gains more support (all he needs is Takumi's, really), or better yet, becomes healthy.

Episode 2

Seiha just wants to play baseball, but Takumi is not exactly endorsing the idea of having his little brother playing ball seeing that it's not all fun and games like he thinks it is. But seeing him having fun playing with Go ought to make it hard for him to give it up. In the end, Takumi ends up taking a dip into the freezing lake, but that got him to cool his head. This isn't something where one needs to be told that they can or cannot play seeing that Go's mother is trying to get him to give it up.

Man this show is good, sad to label this a sports genre cause its so real about life and emotions or the lack of understanding them and growing up. The MC is tough to like he has a big chip on his shoulder but finally broke down at the end of the episode. So far everyone has a back story and the voice actors are really good. Finally mothers worried about sons and futures and sons pushing back just like in real life. Cant wait for next week
I'm guessing the VA that does Seiha is a real kid he has grown on me a lot he pauses awkwardly and has an erratic flow but so do kids so I'm likening his character more and more

Episode 2

Another wonderful episode. To me, Harada is a complex character. He has a reserved personality with a bit of ego but also seems to be kind at heart especially to those who he cares about. I think he really takes baseball too seriously though he needs to drop his attitude if he wants to make a good impression at school.

Really hope Seiha can get into some team in the future as he has potential.

Episode 2

Not sure how I feel about Harada's character. He's going through that rebellious attitude phase almost every little kid goes through when they're young.

The kid does have feelings, despite his ego and his love for baseball is genuine, but strict. Looks like more drama is building up and I can't wait for some baseball matches.

I like Amazon video stream, its very smooth.

Anyway, Harada puts out a cold attitude but at the same time he is very sensitive especially towards his grandfather .He is very serious when it comes to baseball , too serious for a 13 year old but his mother doesnt really understand his feeling or s his passion for baseball.he is a type A personality, competetive

I really want to know what Seiha's condition is

Battery EP 2 /

Excellent episode / we get a good look at the workings of the familes and personas. One thing I am stiil on the fence about Takumi whatever is ailing him physically or mentally he is quite abusive especially toward Seiha. But both moms come off not doing things in the best way either.

Takumi wont let Seiha go running with him . Go's mom stops Takumi and she asks him to tell Go to quit baseball which he says no.Takumi's moom also pressures him to get both Go and Seiha to quit baseball Later Go is playing catch wuth Seiha and Tsakumi goes off on Seiha and throws his ball away. When Takumi gets home Seiha is missing and when he gets to the shrine Go is there looking for him seeing his bike was there. TThey eventually find him because he is scared Takumi goes running after him but falls into the lake after Go told him just to walk. Even then Takumi goes off on Seiha again and Go tells him that is enoiugh and that he mver faced pressure in a BB game . Takumi breaks down and cries / later gettin sick.
