The problem with trying to fix them is that I always view things as completely hopeless. I can sometimes get myself started but eventually depression takes over and I can no longer find the will and motivation to continue.

I can't say too much with that, as I've never been depressed. but do you just let it get to you or do you actually try to fight it once you feel it creeping up on you?

It's hard to really fight it because its not really a "creep up on you" kinda thing. It's all in an instant. Feeling fine thinking things will get better then it's like a switch gets flipped and thoughts just pour in on how useless it all is. I can't even distract myself with anything. Conversations, TV, movies...nothing helps. My mind is just constantly running in the background asking what the point is. I can try arguing it out but I already know the things I can say and the counter-argument for it. I just never win. Sleep is the only break I really get from any of it and even that has been plagued by bad dreams lately.

My boyfriend is the one I can talk to about anything and I know I won't be judged or shrugged off.

I don't really have anyone else like that.

Yes, i have one. I'd consider him my bestfriend and I've known him since elementary. Although we dont hangout at all, we do msg each other everyday just to say whats up. Hes always there to listen so im thankful for that.

Probably a couple/few of my mates, my parents, one of my brothers.
But i dont always speak my problems. I may speak on certain problems but others i prefer to keep to myself.

For really big, personal problems, just my first older brother. For small ones, my friends.

I don't let stuff get to me and focus on being happy. That being said i do get frustrated and angry sometimes which is so easy to get rid with either my punching bag or hitting the gym.

Not really. I feel like they don't really care. And if they do, I feel like a bother. Who wants to listen to someone's negativity? Especially someone like me who's so bitter and pessimistic all the time. I wouldn't listen to me. I don't blame them.

Even with a normal conversation, I almost never message first. People may think that I hate them or something. But really I just hate to be a bother, and I feel like maybe I talk too much and they'd get tired of me. I feel like I need their permission to be talkative, because I'm REALLY talkative and outgoing, and even loud.

that might have been out of topic, oops... I ramble too much...

wait. YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN?!

I only have a few people I can speak to but I don't really talk about my problems with them either way. I usually keep my feelings bottled up inside.

yes my best friend
Posted 7/16/16
My 3 best friends though sometimes I think that I'm bothering them with my stupid bullshit so I may not even say anything to them at all

Not really. I don't discuss personal problems with friends except for trivial ones and I don't have that kind of relationship with my parents, I am not mad at them, I just don't feel talking about that stuff with them.

Not anymore. I'm also in a bad habit of projecting when I'm bothered, so I typically don't socialize when I'm down.
