If I'm alone, music or a sappy movie. Sometimes going for a run or taking a walk in nature (national park, etc) can help calm me down.

If I'm with my boyfriend, any time he trails his fingertips up and down and around my back or if he plays with my hair. Instant relaxation.

My music no doubt it keeps me sane and calm and I just pop em' in and block out the world. I'm a Funk addict and have been one for the last 3 years and if I don't get my daily fix, I'll suffer from withdrawal, paranoia, and hallucinations.

Yeah I have the same thing. I get panic attacks, I got rid of em once but then I got em again because of something happening, anyway, I get rid of it through meditation if I'm at home, that's really easy.

One of the best ways I found was doing exercise, like jumping jacks or whatever. Getting that flow really puts you in another state, letting you calm down.

But I have agoraphobia where I get panic when I'm out and I'm alone in public so I really don't know how to calm down.

Yeah I think it's the "in public" part. It sucks, I really feel your pain. I've had some friends suggest meditation and a couple of them are REALLY into that kinda stuff. They swear by it, though they don't have the same disorders, I can believe it has real results... I can honestly say I have not tried it yet...

Now the exercise part... that's some advice I really should follow...
