If it does nothing to advance the plot or is just an extended version of events we already witnessed it gets skipped.

I watch it, cause I mean yOU MIGHT AS WELL.
After waiting for a whole week for a new episode, only to be graced with a damn filler.
Just take it and enjoy it. It's better than nothing, amirite.
Sure, there may be pointless fillers, repeated details, boring/irrelevant events, but sometimes it ties into the plot and it makes sense. That's when I go full NERUTURD-DESU~~~~ and shove facts into people's faces.
"What? Where did you get that information from?"
"Oh you know, THE FILLER YOU MISSED, YOU FOOL."
I'm just messing but it's something. /shrug

yes and enjoy them enough when they are actual story arcs as opposed to a long string of stand alone comedy eps, they are fine once in awhile but Naruto is not THAT good at comedy that going that for 26+ eps is super enjoyable

I mostly skip, because the plot of the filler arcs usually don't appeal to me, and there tends to be a marked drop in writing quality.

As much as I hate it, still think watching fillers is necessary for the plot..........

If it wasn't about a backstory of relevance/a character's past (which I don't consider filler) then no, I did not watch Naruto fillers. I don't like it when an anime has to stray from the plot for an extensive period of time. Nothing wrong for those who do enjoy such though.

I've actually watched every single episode no matter of which kind. Sometimes they're great, sometimes they're not. Depends.

It's what made me hate the anime.

So, no. It's okay to have fillers here and there. But it's gotten past that point.

There's good filler, where your characters are basically going off on side quests or relaxing between plot arcs while still doing unique and interesting things, and there's bad filler, which is basically just a rehash of things we've already seen. I watch the former, but not the latter.

Fillers are fine...but there's a limit, and naruto reached it a long time ago : /

They've gotten annoying, especially when they make ONE battle last over 10 episodes and counting.

I watch Toonami with my little brother every week, so we end up seeing allllllllllllllllllll the filler they want to show us.
