Not really a huge deal because I cancelled (my renewal of) my Funimation subscription in the wake of the CR/Funi deal given that we are getting pretty much everything making my Funi account pointless.
Finally can log in, called it on it not being a huge problem because all it was that they updated their password requirement. I wish they would have updated their 'make a new password page' when they launched the app because that was the first thing I did trying to troubleshoot stuff.


You're right, but at the same time Crunchyroll, Netflix,hbogo they all works fine with me, it's not about the speed actually, the faster your server can provide and the player understands the call and better encoded video. If you don't get these think of why YouTube always good even when you're on slow speed.
This is the main reason why I hate the Daisuki video player, I experienced buffering at SD quality. *tears*

Hello once again Grand Alliance,

Grand Alliance suggests,

"Use Microsoft Edge browser..."

Now, would that be exclusive to Windows 10? Right now at least, I'm running Win 7 with the Inori Aizawa Browser, lol :-)

Hi OblivionSA,

Good to see I'm not the only one with that forum login situation (laughs to self) It's the worst because you can't alert the community to anything, additionally, I still haven't received word from a live tech support agent, I might have gotten the generic response that we will get back to you within x amount of days etc. Hopefully, a forum supervisor from FUN might see this thread?

BTW, u know u can quote posts right? Look for the button on bottom of post.


Use Internet Explorer then. Verify it is fully updated; if u keep ur Windows Updates active, it should be. Although I haven't yet tested it myself on IE yet, I presume it "should work".

Yes, Windows updates are on, but, still can't post even though I am logged in. Still haven't heard from support. It's like Michelle Lee (from Good Luck Girl) saying, "Oh, Nadeshiko" except, in this case, it's, "Oh Funimation" (laughs)

About quoting, yeah, there are plenty of features I probably should use, but, for me, I'm just glad I'm on a site that actually works and allows me the ability to post unlike FUN now, lol ;-)

Ahh, yes... the purple hair girl end of post-credits episode bitching about not having any airtime. As long as you can watch videos, should be thankful for now. So many problems at the moment...

Grand Alliance, I think I saw a recent post you made on FUN now you're back over here, like ADT, do you continuously monitor multiple anime threads? You're like everywhere; you won't hear me complain, but, do you ever sleep? Maybe FUNimation should hire you on for tech support liaison?

Question: In your description, you list Azeroth. Is that like from Teen Titans Raven?

Seems that trying to view a video requiring a subscription without one pops up a nice useless 404 message while prompting me to subscribe. Super useful for figuring out if I'm experience a bug or just sloppy coding.

Oh okay..

Azeroth is referenced from World of Warcraft. Yeah, I've been hearing a lot about that, not that I've played it. Great play on words there, by the way. The diehard CrunchyRoll people are probably like, "please let their site be fixed so they can get off our forums..." (laughs)

Let me think where I left off in my knowledge of MMORPGs.... Possibly Asheron's Call or Everquest? I might have the titles wrong there. I think there was also Onigiri for PS4 and probably countless others. Could you even throw in some from Hyperdimension Neptunia? Maybe those are only JRPGs? I have many games from the Neptunia series, but, haven't really gotten around to playing them.. Same thing with games from STEAM.. I get them, then, they continue to take up space with little or no game time.

I tried Firefox and Edge, was doing the same thing. I was trying to watch the first episode of Youjo Senki, which conveniently started working as soon as the second video was posted and the first no longer required a sub to watch. Their player just wasn't very clear about why a video isn't available for viewing. *Edit: seems like they fixed the issue, as Episode 2 is appropriately indicating a sub requirement.

Interesting...

Initially, videos I hadn't already seen were not working, looks like that has been fixed, but, I still can't post on their forums even though I'm logged in.

Okay I will pose my question here

I am finding less and less reasons to keep on with my Funimation sub. I really dont like dubs and have pretty much seen everything in there selection and I get all my new shows here and from others like amazon and hulu. WHAT ARE YOU OFFERING ME FUNIMATION FOR MY MONEY???? Can someone answer this for me cause I dont know.
