UQ Holder!

It's a loose sequel/spinoff of Negima that is quite good. It follows Touta, the grandson of the main character of Negima, as he becomes immortal and aids UQ Holder, an organization that goes out an does humanitarian missions. It's from Ken Akamatsu the same person that also did Love Hina. Despite the fact that the author is known for doing the two popular series, UQ Holder is still under the radar of most people I've met.

This older manga series has taught me so much about Japanese food culture in its many aspects.

Several books in English in this series; each book dealing with different topics concerning Japanese food.

And also this : one of the best manga I've ever read. I guess the film is better known, but the manga is absolutely GENIUS.

PS. Thank you, people posting in this forum, for giving me lots of manga tips!

Dangan Tenshi Fan Club

It's a one shot by none other than One.
Fun female MC superhero "angel" named Himiko. Accompanied by a great male MC named Oogami.
I don't know why this hasn't been picked up and serialized yet!!
And then **insert daydream here** one day made into an anime adaptation...

Here's two more that I'm surprised haven't been mentioned yet.

Karakuri Doji Ultimo
-It is based on a concept by Marvel's Stan Lee, and the story and art is done by Hiroyuki Takei, the creator of Shaman King. The story is about a war between two groups of robots that represent Ultimate Good and Ultimate Evil; Ultimo and the Six Perfections, vs Vice and the Seven Deadly Sins. Anyone that enjoys cool mech's, or Marvel and Takei's work, will enjoy this.

King of Thorn
-A short six-volume series about a group of people that are put into cryo-sleep until a cure is found for the virus that is slowly killing them. When they wake up, they discover that the entire lab is now infested with monsters and large thorn-covered vines. It was made into film a couple years back that was dubbed by Funimation. The film deviates greatly from the book, though.

I wish they finished Ultimo. Is it finished?

I should give the King of Thorn a try. I seen the movie and loved it a lot.

Karakuri Douji Ultimo is completed with 52 chapters but they are not available yet. It ended in 2015 or 2016 I think, and it may have ended along with Watsuki Nobuhiro's Embalming (I am not sure). People didn't show any interest in the West, so there are no translated chapters (I suppose)

Mousou Telepathy

Daily updated in Japan, a 1 page manga, so you get 7 pages a week, basically you get a chapter a week in total comparing it to a normal short manga. But each page is released each day. I love this so much. It's so funny.
