Pastor Mark Burns delivered such a fiery and passionate speech at the RNC tonight in which he roused the crowd with a message of racial harmony.

He said that while Democrats want to focus on “colors that divide us,” “under Donald Trump and under a Donald Trump administration, all lives matter!”

*sigh* they really don't get it, that's like chanting "All tree's matter" at a save the rain forest rally.

Yeah, if the pro rain forest group were openly against regular forests and the pro rain forest rally was actually a rally for all forests.

This happened at the RNC, not a BLM rally.

If you're going to make oddly arbitrary analogies, at least make them accurate.

Your right it was the RNC that was shouting "All Lives Matter" but absolutely guaranteed that others are going to see it as a response and an attack on "Black Lives Matter" and there are already articles being written as it being so if they are not up already. It can be construed as attacking or innocent but my original post assumes that it is the former rather than the latter.

As for BLM leadership being racist I don't anything about that, but I do know that the people at their rally's can be fucking assholes. I went to one to show my support and they started chanting "death to pigs" and I just spat on the ground and left those dicks in disgust.

*sorry hit quote & ate dinner so I didn't see your edit*

I feel my sentence was accurate if indeed the RNC chant was indeed an attack on BLM, if it wasn't then your right.

The whole point of "Black Lives Matter" IS "All Lives Matter" the reason they say "Black" instead of "All" is because they feel their lives are worth less than others in the eyes of law enforcement, and that's why so many are dying to police.

The normal republican response of "All Lives Matter" in response to Black Lives Matter is because they think the group BLM is saying black lives matter more than others.

My original response automatically assumes that the "All Lives Matter" chant at the RNC is aimed in response to the BLM movement, but closeded pointed out that since it was at a RNC rally that had nothing to do with BLM, they could have just been innocently chanting "All Lives Matter".

Personally I think most of this confusing shit can be avoided if the BLM movement just changed their slogan a little to "Black Lives Matter Too".

All the pointless analogies are just that. Saying "All Lives Matter" is not like saying anything else. It is simply saying "this is not a race issue". Black Lives Matter, at its core, asserts that police shootings are a race issue at large, but the statistics just don't support those claims. Saying "All Lives Matter" is saying "Lets find real solutions to real problems instead of twisting the problems to spin a narrative and proposing solutions that don't actually address the core of the issue".
