You once had a belief. It was either an opinion about things we encounter in daily life, a political stance, a preference or dislike towards a piece(s) of media, a personal philosophy or a fundamental aspect of your worldview. Either way, you've since changed your mind about it and have shifted your beliefs. What did you used to believe, how has it changed and what compelled you to change your mind in the first place? It can be about anything.

I'll start

I used to think Walking Dead was a really cool show, with interesting characters. I didn't even mind the second season where they were on the farm for episodes on end. Now I just think of it as people pointlessly wandering from one place to another with gratuitous violence and disturbing imagery once in a while to keep the viewers from completely nodding off. In fact, I think I've been turned off the zombie apocalypse genre as a whole nowadays. I used to like it, but now I find it boring and predictable just by being exposed to it so much.

Someone who tries to promote socially progressive values, but often knows very little about such issues. For example, feminism and political correctness are both issues that are very often tackled by SJWs without them considering consequences of their actions or solutions to the supposed issues. I used to support political correctness, believing that certain words should not be allowed because they would hurt other people. I then realised how dangerous that could be, and how quickly we would be living in a world quite like George Orwell's 1984.

SORRY. I did not get an email that you replied :c

xD found this:

An abbreviation of Social Justice Warrior, SJWs are people who believe or pretend to believe in "Social Justice" AKA ideas of white privilege, cis privilege, thin privilege, ableism, and patriarchy theory. This is often coupled by hatred for anyone who they consider "privileged" (cis people, white people, men, etc.) They're usually (but not always) white/Asian, upper-middle class females with a sexuality you have never heard of before. They will repeat the same mantra over and over, and will never change their opinion unless whoever is teaching them those ideas opinion changes. Their favorite phrase is "check your privilege." They use the website tumblr religiously.
