I suppose that's one way to pivot towards the middle. Gonna make it alot more work to woo Bernie supporters.

When Trump becomes president, he should re-open Clinton's email case and send her to jail. And launch a thorough investigation into Obama's past. I remember Dr. Carson said that we should be talking about treason with Obama.

How expected of her. Wait for it. You know the light "crack" that comes before a deep "boom" in a roll of thunder? If my faith is well-placed (and it may well not be) this is a situation like that. The Democrats will have their corporatist sellouts for another round, but Bernie Sanders is looking long-term: he is looking to the midterm election and the presidential elections to come. God willing there will be a fierce, relentless "kaboom" of progressive primary challenges coming the next election cycle.

Bernie is just too old, and sold out or pushed away his supporters or independents that might have supported him.

I don't get it. Can someone tell me what this has to do with Bernie? Did Tim Kaine burn his house down or something?

Edit: Yeah... Never mind. I just read some more about it and this definitely looks like a big "F U" to Bernie voters. Picking someone from the establishment who recently voted for something that Bernie has been protesting against for years right after getting endorsed by Bernie is a huge dick move.

It's not Sanders himself that would constitute the aforementioned "kaboom". It would be the sister groups he's looking to expand his presidential bid into. It seems like what he and many others have in mind is to primary any Democrats who don't push for and accomplish progressive objectives at all levels of government.

As for having pushed away his followers and independents that might've supported him, sure, I've seen some of that. The polling suggests that about 1 in 5 Sanders supporters jumped over to Trump. Some did so to send a message to the Democrats, some did so because they never really supported Sanders but just wanted to stick it to the establishment, and some did it out of pure rage. But that still leaves about 4 in 5 Sanders supporters either going with Clinton, going with a third party candidate who is more like Sanders (that would be Stein), going with a third party candidate they think has a good chance to shake things up (that would be Johnson), or just aren't voting this year. This means there's still a substantial base to grab on to even though there are people loudly disavowing Sanders on the Trump Reddit page.

Since I don't visit reddit, I have noticed there has been a major uptick in #BernieMustDisavow and things like that. If half the bullshit the DNC pulled is real, they need to have their top brass cooling their heels in prison for awhile.
