These must have very interesting stories behind them. Just one wacky episode for each.

Reminds me of the Simpson's episode where Homer gets arrested for kicking a can (illegal transportation of litter)

#2 makes perfect sense. Before then, the eternal bingo games consumed the elderly as they were trapped in a never ending cycle of needing them to call just that one last spot. And then, the unending cycle of "just one more round"

Never Again.

Because they are fishing. You can't hold two needles and also have room for your rod and your beer. That would be chaos. Sounds like it was a matter of the public good.

I found out a couple years ago that it is illegal to have "dangerous poultry" (aka geese) within the town limits of the town I live in.

That one actually kind of makes sense. Geese are aggressive assholes.

A lot of seemingly dumb laws out there that aren't necessarily in effect anymore because other laws overrule them.

My 12 and 15 year old nephews came up to me today and informed me that "Kinder eggs are illegal in America." "Guns are legal," they said "You know... to shoot people with, but kinder eggs... no," and then they laughed. I had to google the bit about kinder eggs. It's true. It's actually illegal.

The cactus one is totally necessary. They take over 100 years to grow into adulthood and they are Arizona's state tree.
