I think someone wanted to leave their mark on the legal code and came up with stupid laws just for lulz. I'd do it.

These must have very interesting stories behind them. Just one wacky episode for each.

I remember reading an article about the Real Stories behind clickbait "Wacky Laws":
- One state forbid wearing a costume while collecting a debt. (Like a Deputy costume when you don't belong to the sheriff's dept., for example.)
- One state requiring horses to wear pants. (Diaper-like pants, especially around the water reservoir.)

As for the laws here:
- "Bingo games cannot last more than five hours" (Go to a full-time Vegas or native casino sometime, and check out the retired folk.)
- "You are not allowed to carry away seaweed at night." (Or even during the day, when ecological-protection might complain, or oversee health regulations.)
- "It is illegal to hunt small animals with a ferret." (Nature gave the ferret one distinct hunting advantage, and they're not known for their PETA sympathies.)
- "You can get up to 25 years for cutting down a Saguaro cactus." (They're endangered.)
- "You will be fined if you leave your Christmas decorations up past Jan. 14." (Especially the eyesore ones that light up.)
- "It is illegal to race horses on the highway." (Aw, c'mon, what's the worst that could happen?...)

I like to think that being able to spoil Wacky Laws is the age dividing-line when you know you're becoming your parents.

You will get fined if you leave your Christmas decorations up past Jan. 14.

So many people are breaking the law.
