Bethesda Softworks are without a doubt the most overrated developer in video games, regarding income + critical reception. They make some of the most casual, worst RPG's I've ever played. Fallout 4 in particular is really bad, and Oblivion is probably the worst Elder Scrolls game. However Fallout 3 is ... decent as an rpg. And Skyrim is good as a game, even if it needs more RPG elements. So I might buy this on PC, but it won't replace something like The Witcher 3 or any of the original Fallouts.

Witcher 3 is ass. Skyrim is only good with mod, Oblivion was better but Morrowind was the best of the series. Fallout New Vegas was the best Fallout.

Eh I could not get into skyrim at all, I put 20 hours in but it felt like a slog. I also could not get into oblivion so I'll prob wait for a sale, maybe the mods will help me like the game or something

Hey are there any water and grass on a gtx 750 ti and an i5 2400 with 12GB ram? I'm only trying to add 25-30 mods in general, but would appreciate sths that will not cause my machine to meltdown or drop under 30fps.

I don't use any grass/flora mods, but this one seems to be popular- http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42370/? Might hit your performance though.
For water, I use this one- http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1111/? Looks great an doesn't bother my PC at all.

I'm getting it for PS4 even though Sony won't let Bethesda include mod support through Sony. Hopefully Bethesda finds another way to include mods though

No thanks, not paying that much for absolutely nothing. Oblivion, Morrowind, whatever would have been 100x better.

I'm kinda torn. I never got a chance to play the DLC but I don't wanna pay 59.99 for a ps4 version that doesn't have mod support. I'll make up my mind by the end of this month.

When they said if you own all DLCs you get it for free, well of course buying them was a no brainer, especially since I got a decent deal on the core game during Steams summer sale.

Looks like Playstation's getting mods for Skyrim afterall!

......Albeit limited. ¬_¬ Put simply, modders will only be able to use the game's vanilla assets and not be able to put their own ones in. This is a shame, because it seriously limits creativity.
Well, in the wrods of Sonic-

Since it's free for me, I'll probably pick it up again for a while.

I wiped all of my Skyrim folders this morning so I can have a clean install when this releases. Turns out I had over 180GB of mods, so if nothing else, Bethesda's freed up some space on my hard drive.
