I got the idea for this topic from some other places. I wonder if it is really possible for a band or artist to never release a bad album. Sometimes, albums will be average, but some bands end up never releasing a band album. Some might even release classic after classic with more and more acclaim and praise

so list some bands or artists that you think never released any bad material. These are some of those bands who fit that description for me

1. pavement
2. lcd soundsystem
3. at the drive in
4. rage against the machine
5. the pixies

Hmmmmm, if you said mostly released good albus I'd have tons of answers for you but when you say never released a bad album it gets pretty tough,

1. Artension/John West
2. Badlands
3. UFO/Mogg-Way
4. Skid Row
5. Faith No More
6. Stratovarius
7. Pat Benatar
8. Berlin
9. Missing Persons
10. The Monkees
11. Paul Revere and the Raiders
12. Boyce and Hart

It was difficult as hell to come up with that list finding that IMHO most of the groups I truly love all had "Clankers" every now and again.

one, because I don't really like radiohead. Two, Pablo honey was just them trying to sound like the pixies and grunge and they failed at it. Third, they have made bad albums so me saying it just wouldn't be true

Parliament

Nice to see you on the forums again. If I knew that you were going to comment, then I would have guessed that you would have name dropped parliament. I mean you aren't wrong in any case so it makes sense that you would.

Well, I was aiming for artists that had a longer discography. It generally isn't too hard to release a good debut album. Most bands decline after that point so artists with only one album don't really count. General idea is to think of groups that have released at least three albums.

I have another for you and I've started to listen to these guys and I didn't realized how good these guys were until recently, and their name is War like I love these guys like I love Parliament and rightfully so they have had a huge influence on music and they're a superband much like Parliament and it's amazing.
