I agree. I first watch few episodes but i mostly watch to the end (considering it's 12-26 episodes long). Any longer series should be reviewed after... 20-50 episodes maybe? But there's option to fix it later but...

Agree, infact more than agree. To write a review you need to make a principle to have watched the entire anime. In certain cases there can be exceptions, like length (50+ eps), or that it is already repeatedly showed the same terrible flaws that has totally ruined any hope of salvation. But then the reviewer should be open and honest about this and argue for why even if they haven't seen the entire anime what they saw was enough to make a FAIR review. I would say 1 ep. would never cut it, at least 6 eps. out of 12 or 10 of 25, and those are the absolute exceptions.

To judge the entire series, then the entire series must be watched. If it is just an episode review, then only one episode needs to be watched. There was a review for Cross Ange (I get not everyone enjoys it, or finds it appealing, especially with the first episode) over only episode one, which criticized the entire series (even though only one episode was even released) for being so bad. That is a poor type of review, in my opinion.

I noticed that on this site, you can delete your review and replace it with a new one. So I don't mind reviewing a show before all the episodes have been released, knowing that I can replace my review later on.

I've seen first impression reviews by YouTube reviewers such as Arkada, covering just the first few episodes of a show. I don't see anything wrong with that kind of thing.

And that's the thing. They're really "first impressions" more than legitimate reviews, imho. I don't think one should just automatically review a whole show after just a few episodes. You don't know what's really going to happen in the series yet (unless somehow you were into the source material in some cases), and you don't know if the quality of the show will drop, raise, and/or stay consistent throughout. It makes more sense to actually review the series (or the season of said series) as a whole if and when it finishes.
