Some 'friends' stopped talking to me for no apparent reason.

Sincerely, it used to affect me but right not.... I couldn't care less.

...

However I have stopped talking to some friends, mainly the ones from this site, because I'm too lazy to reply... Cr is way too old-fashioned and its GB system is sometimes just a drag to use. I'd rather use discord to talk to close online friends.

Yep. Once me and a high school friend (this happened out of high school) got into a fight over Souk Calibur 5 once I got better than him at it, and he left the party after the fight. Checked my friend's list and he was gone.

He tried to hit me up the following week, but I pretty much ignored him for an entire year until two of our mutual friends pretty much had an intervention. We're not as cool anymore, but we still can enjoy each other's company.

The main reason I ignored him wasn't because he unfriended me with the intent to ignore me, it was because he did so for such a lame reason.

Since I've lot of power being Roman Senator, I had to let them go because they want something from me. :/ I noticed lot of women would spread false rumor saying that I'm the father of their child.. Now you can tell all they want is piece of my power! I mean who doesn't? I'm very powerful man! :/

Yes. I joined a gaming clan and have been in it for years. It's pretty dead now but it used to be reasonalby big and very active.
Anyone who has ever joined a gaming clan would know that people come and go.
Sometimes there are disagreements or people dont get along or break the rules or etc but often people just disappear one day or leave to join a different clan or move onto another game or stop gaming, have kids so dont have time anymore, etc
Some of these people i know in real life or ended up meeting in real life but most were just on line friends.
Some we stay in touch via face book or talk in mumble or team speak or etc even though we no longer game together anymore.

I have had disagreements with on line friends on facebook before and i've had alot of people delete me on facebook lol

I one day just decided to delete almost all of my friends list on steam. Most of them we didn't talk or game and i couldn't remember who half of them were so decided no point.

Also when i was younger i used to post at a very large and active anime forum and i made lots of on line friends there.
We used to talk alot at the forum a far as general posting but also role playing, private messaging, plus outside the forum such as MSN, e-mail, etc
Some of them i was friends with for years but eventually everyone grows older. The forum died and as you get older you drift appart.
I stopped using MSN many years ago.
Same with the game clan thing, some people just grow up and have familes and etc

I stayed in touch with some former work mates via facebook so they became on line only friends but half (or more) of my facebook friends list we dont even talk or some of them dont even use facebook.

So short answer would be yes! ^^;
Whilst i do have/have had plenty of real life friends, i have had many on line friends over the years.
Some i have known on line only for over 10 years. But most of them come and go.
Life gets in the way.

Yes I have, though they stopped talking to me for what seems like no apparent reason, and I'm kinda glad since I found out that they were lying about something, but I still them occasionally
