Well as a serious answer this is how I did it. Skip breakfast, have a small lunch usually just fruit, have a regular dinner with whatever you want. Go to gym 5 times a week to do whatever weights and then end your gym trip with 2 miles on the treadmill and 10-11 miles on the stationary bike. Takes like 25 minutes on treadmill and 40 minutes on bike. Usual gym session lasts like 2 and a half hours but time flies when you listen to good music and zone everything out. I went from 250 pounds to 180 in no time.

Huh...? Is your metabolism like that? Mine is slowest in the morning and ramps up throughout the day till it gets so late then it just drops.

Yup,thats how i roll - ihave deep hunger every morning.>.< But one should try to avoid eating heavily just before going to sleep...almost all of that energy will be conversed into fat if you do.

I understand this is a Brexit joke but to actually put some serious input to people legitimately coming here wondering how to lose weight.

Exercising daily and making sure to not eat too much definitely is the key to losing weight. Last October I was 235 lbs, as of now I'm under 200 lbs because I decided that my weight was getting out of control. After I switched jobs I stagnated on exercising but after getting my new job I have been back on the same routine and it's slowly but surely working.

What honestly really helps is having a job that forces you to move around a lot. When I'm at work I can take 15000 steps before my shift is over, then I come home to run for 45 minutes. So, even days where I do not exercise when I come home, I still was active that day and it helps keep my metabolism going.

Never give up. It might take 10 months before I get to 160. But if I do it and don't stop I will get there. It's all about patience.

Now back to topic, Brexit pretty much shows why democracy fails if the people are misinformed or uncaring.

Dont drink soda ever more or less. But eat regular food and not fastfood everyday. Make meals that you buy in the store more or less, be somewhat active, do activities, also read books if you have time in the weekends.

Good question. For fat loss goals your priorities are:
1. Diet
2. Diet
3. Weight training
4. Cardio (a distant 4th)
Best piece of equipment to lose stomach fat: vegetables.. Forget about snacks , drink beer only on weekends in reasonable quantities.
Bottom line is that you're concentrating on the least important factor in achieving your goals. And unless you're willing to invest a amount of money for a home gym your best bet is to start off at a commercial gym. Saying you don't have time is an excuse. If it's not important enough then save yourself a lot of time and stay overweight/out of shape.
