You youngsters and your school computers, you guys don't even learn cursive anymore!
Actually when I was in school we only got to use computers for a short time in one class and it didn't
have internet.

Cursive is a pain to read. I'm glad it's dead.

Me and the whole class would install doom or unreal to the school servers then play during class. It was fun times.

Cursive is the only way to write it's not for reading its for signing.
If I am ever unlucky enough to have a kid I will make them learn cursive, I can't see signing my name without using cursive.

They taught me cursive.... then they asked me to stop using it.

Now I only use cursive for signatures.

I'm pretty sure the stupidest thing anyone can do with a school computer is to turn it on.

Well, I went to a tech school for middle school so we used computers quite often and I've done plenty of dumb things. The dumbest thing I've done was leave it on while I went to go get a drink of water came back to find my homie Matt put granny tranny porn on the screen, the moment I sat down in my chair to change it the teacher walked by and I got in trouble for it lmao. It was a funny thing.

Collaborated with a small group of dudes to install a game onto the school comps so we could play when the teaches weren't paying attention. Some of them were pretty technically skilled, snuck onto an admin account and gave firewall permissions. We had the game in hidden folders. Renamed the .exe to word.exe so it wouldn't be obvious in the usage history. I nabbed the ghost CD, a backup they used to fresh install the computers periodically, made a new ghost copy with the game included, then copied the hand writing on the front of the disk with my sharpy. This worked for several months. It was likely never noticed, the forged ghost CD was probably lost or damaged and replaced.

It was awesome.

Stupid though. Some of that stuff we did was 'hacking' and definitely theft. Risk to reward ratio wasn't there.

I was looking up classmates names online and seeing what came up on google images, then porn pics showed up.

Or just generally playing flash games and shit.

I can't even say playing flash games. They let us do that.

Wrote a infinite open loop, paired files as a script and crashed a computer. My grade principle happened to be in the library and saw me do it.

Changed my computer technology instructor's wallpaper from his Battlestar Galactica wallpaper, to a stripping granny as a prank when I was a senior. Cost me a week of computer privileges, but it was worth it to see the look on his face.

Every year of HS I would change the administrators passwords and download Steam and all those goodies (some apps and things were blocked off from regular users, actually, most were). Anyways, my Sophomore year, I tried to change the Lightspeed program to allow me to go on certain websites (Lightspeed is/was a real bitch), and long-story short, I screwed up my internet. I mean, there were still ethernet cords around the school, but without those, the laptop wouldn't work with WiFi (unless hotspot). Also showed some friends Boku no Pico, we watched it in our computer class. Had the coolest teacher ever.... as long as you did your work, he was chill af.
