None, I did not bother to learn Japanese to just have to sit through either. Japanese voice tracks, no subs. Subs are for wanna be weebs who can't put forth the effort to learn Japanese and dubs are just bad period.

Subs. Unless the dubbed is just as good/doesn't take the feeling and intensity away.

Doesn't really matter unless the dub is really bad but on the whole I prefer watching the Subbed version. I just like hearing the Japanese and randomly saying the word at school the next day and everyone calling you a Weeb.

I used to be a dub-only kind of person when I was younger, but now I prefer subs. I guess as I got older, I started to realize how bad the voice acting is in most English dubbed anime. Still, if I'm going back to rewatch an anime I watched dubbed my first time through, I'll usually go with the dub simply because I'm used to it. (Dragon Ball, Evangelion)

Of course, there are a few anime out there that have stronger dubs in my opinion. As to be expected, Studio Ghibli films are fantastic when dubbed by Disney. No low quality voice actors there. I also thought the English dub for Watamote was great too, but maybe that's just me.

Subs
- glancing down can be kinda annoying
- but original voice acting

Dubs
- voice acting may not be of quality
- no more glancing down

its even

I do like subs a bit more than dub

DUBS.

SUBS are 100% better for authenticity. I just can't stand having to read subtitles. I'd rather enjoy the visual experience completely, and not have to worry about missing something if I look away.

My answer = Subs.
I used to prefer dubbed anime, since I'm not a reader, and couldn't read fast at all. However, I decided to try it one day, and although I had a hard time keeping up, I got better, and was eventually able to do it. The reason why I tried subs is because I heard there was much more anime out there in subs than dubs. I think at the time, I have a limited interest, because I was only a little into anime, and had 5 shows on my list (without CrunchyRoll). I tried it, because some of my shows had triple the amount of episodes, in subbed.

Subs every time,

Dubbing is really hard to do right, there's loads more to speech than the words, just try reading a poorly translated poem.

Even the accent has a big impact "American English" in a rural Japanese setting, no thanks!

I don't mind any of them. I'll watch SUB or DUB as long as they're good.

It really depends on the show.
It's not that one is better than the other; it varies from show to show.
Good and bad dubs are as common as good and bad anime.
I'll watch either, though.

I like listening to different languages, so definitely subs. It's hard to find good dubs (I usually cringe).

Japanese subs are great when you can't hear what the characters are saying due to too much noise. :p
only a select few series have the raw subs readily available though.
