One punch man.

I think I like every other big series out there.

I got as far as episode 2, after the first few minutes of this episode and I'd had enough.

Funny, I'm the opposite. Don't care much for real sports but love a good sports anime.

I remember my co-workers amazement during the last Olympics when I schooled them on the rules of indoor volleyball. All thanks to Haikyu!!

Anohana. I lost someone in my childhood and I'm not even sure I can make it through the first episode without balling my eyes out.

Durarara!! and imho, Paranoia Agent handles the non-linear narrative and comedy much better.

I could never see what the appeal for Durarara is.

Another anime that is beyond my interest range is Evangelion and I agree with the guy who told me that Mechwarrior games have a deeper storyline as a sci-fi novel than Evangelion.

There's some anime that I just don't get. Of those the one I recall the most is Jo jo's bizarre adventure. I tried watching the first few episodes. I've no wish to go further. Oh and I fell asleep trying to watch the first episode of Taboo tattoo. What are your animes that you can't get into?

Ive had trouble with JoJos as well OP but from what I understand, the first like 8-12 episodes are just trash compared to the rest of the series because of how dated the material is. At least that seems to be the universal opinion of most people I know who love that series.

Aria and Durarara. I made it to the last season of both before giving up, at least temporarily.

With Aria, despite loving several other iyashikei and slice of life series, the show just just came off as boring and chore-like ratehr than beautiful and relaxing. Maybe it's the dated visuals (compared to more recent SoLs, the vistas of Neo-Venezia are pretty unimpressive), maybe it's the artificiality of it all (the characters felt like cute girl tropes very deliberate put together rather than real friends), maybe it's the cat (I hate that goddamn cat, it's unnerving).

With Durarara, I lost track of the plot as it grew even more ridiculously labyrinthine and I just didn't care about anyone except Celty enough to be bothered with the show anymore. Also just couldn't stand the fandom's love for Izaya, who I wanted to see come to a painful end ever since he first appeared.

I'm also having a really hard time watching the Monogatari series, and the prospect of incest fanservice in Nise kept me from continuing for a while, but though it was hard to watch, Bake was rewarding enough in it's own odd way that I will continue it some day.

Monogatari series - I tried for a bit. I'm fine with pretensiousness, I'm fine with a bit of fan service. Together though, no. Also there aren't any characters I liked.

Anohana - I hated it. All of these characters are unlikable and annoying. Watch Looking up at the Half-Moon (Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora) instead.
