I think an anime adaptation could definitely work. Like I said before, the weakest link to this manga is easily got to be its visuals, so getting some extra visual flair from a talented anime studio would definitely make for a fantastic product. I'm sure it will continue if they escape though. Saving the world from those monsters isn't going to be easy so it's not like there won't be anything to write about after that. Plus they're setting up that William Minerva guy to be a character and I don't think they'll meet him in person before escaping. My personal guess is that they will all get caught escaping and everyone will die except for Norman, Ray and Emma who will be allowed to serve the monsters due to their unparallelled talent and intelligence and will secretly mount a new plan to free all the humans. I admit that serving the monsters even as a facade isn't completely in character for Emma, but that's what I would do if it was me doing he writing.

This manga could make a nice live action drama depending on the staff.

Honestly I will like studio Bones to do the anime. They do well when it comes with dark theme animes

My pick would be Madhouse because I think they would be the best fit to really make something great from the art style and framing of the manga. In fact, if you look at their offering for this season: ACCA: ku kansatsu kai, you can see them bringing linework that's similar to Neverland's to life and they make it look really good in motion.

Well that does sound interesting. I guess it would be nice if an anime would make the character designs look a little better, since those are probably the most bothersome thing to me about the manga.

I think I would like to see Shaft do the adaptation.

I doubt very much that shaft would do it. I think they would do it well, I just don't think it's their style.

Holy shit, chapter 32 was insane. This is what it was all building up to and the payoff is shaping up to be incredible. This is one o the best chapters in the series easily. I guess you could say it was...

Right. I honestly did not see that coming, but I wouldn't be surprise if they brought him back. If they did I will be fine with it.

I would not. honestly. Norman I can buy

Edit: actually now that I think about it I suppose he could have emptied out the oil and switched it with water or something. That would be in line with his character and it would allow him to motivate Emma and grab Mama's attention. Still it would be kind of stupid in a way because it would mean Emma can't tell the difference between oil and water. Knowing the writer it's probably not going to be something either of us see coming so I guess we'll just have to wait.

Norman yes. Like I said I wouldn't be surprise if they manage too. For all we know they have advance medical to regenerate the skin.

Yeah I edited my original comment because I figured a way they could make it work (not fast enough though, lol) the advanced medicine is definitely a possibility but I think that would be a bit forced. I mean we already established that the kids got sick and stayed in sick bay for long periods of time, so why risk compromising the meat if you have medicine that can cure something as bad as burn wounds so effeciently.

The anime has to be more than 12 episodes. Otherwise it could get rushed and/or have important parts cut out, depending on the studio.

It's a hot new series from the single most popular manga magazine so I'm sure it'll get itself a decent length.
