Hello,

I just turned off the auto-renew for my free-trail membership that I was trying out, but it ended the premium membership immediately even though I chose the other option to keep the membership until the end date and just not auto-renew.

It's really no big deal for me and I don't even need it "fixed" actually. (though it would be cool! I only got a few days out of it) But, I am pretty sure that this is some sort of bug that I thought I would report to you, I can imagine some people wouldn't be as understanding if they went to cancel auto renew and cancelled their membership altogether.

Hope it's helpful, and my apologizes if it is working as intended and this is a waste of your time =]

P.S. - If this is posted in an incorrect place in the forums, a move from a mod to the correct thread group would be much appreciated.

It's normal for free trials to cancel immediately. Are you sure you read the cancellation message carefully? It was my impression that the message actually says that about free trials -- it's only paid premium memberships that stay active through the currently paid term.

At this point if you want a chance to continue the free trial that you didn't intend to cancel yet, you can contact customer support directly via the /contact form. I'm not sure if they will be willing to do that, since it seems you have already had a chance to use part of the trial and had already decided not to continue as a premium member, but it's something you can try.

Oh, Okay. And yeah, it did say something specifically about the free trails on the page but I might have read it wrong, because that's not what I got out of what it said =D

Unfortunately, I can't go back and check what it said since I can't cancel it again lol. Thank you for your response though, it would seem this is normal and I just can't comprehend today haha. It is a little confusing though with the way the cancel is set up, and most anything that has a free-trail won't cancel it outright when you stop auto-renew after 3 or 4 days out of the 30. (I used a url for free trail)

And thanks for that, but I don't necessarily need the free-trail still. I would imagine they would if I had accidentally done it (actually they probably would anyway if it's not a huge hassle, lol) but the reason I was cancelling auto-renew was because I did not realize that there was not certain anime (and also, dubs) that I was looking for. So I don't really need the premium to keep up on the few shows on here I'm personally watching, if that makes sense.

Although, i would be stoked for the rest of the month on free trail premium =D
But it's no big deal.

Thanks for your help buddy!

Edit: P.S. - Thanks for changing the forum post title, as well! Much more informative at a glance than mine was =D
