Digital copies imo saves up space and you can read them just like physical copies

They both have the charms.

Physical can sit on a shelf, you can touch and feel and smell and enjoy the tactile feeling of interacting with real paper. But paper warps, ink fades and the general condition deteriorates over time regardless of how you store it, the only difference is how quickly or how slowly it does so.

Digital is generally cheaper, you have no fears of degradation but if you are the type of person who enjoys having a physical interaction with something they just don't feel the same or provide the satisfaction a physical copy has.

I'm the sorta person who likes physical because I'm a hands on type. I find it more fun to build it than buy it if I can (e.g. computers, amps), I mod things like my headphones and furniture and I like to tube roll amps rather than play with digital equalizers and profiles to change sound etc. To me there is a satisfaction in physically interacting with something that digital will never replicate.

Physical is always 100x better. Physical however takes up lots of space and costs a lot more money, so keep that in mind.

In your particular situation it sounds like limited physical purchases until you've saved up enough for a tablet, then jump over to digital. In my case, physical for the ones I really treasure and digital for the rest.

If you want to have a book shelf full of manga to show off buy paper. I'll just torrent the manga pages after I buy the physical copy so why bother getting a digital version since I am just making a "copy" of what I already own for my own use.
