I have music and visual novel software purchased from Steam and would like to put them together, adding custom music/voice acting to games I desire to create! Let's get straight to the terms.

1. Having fun is the main part. Don't stress over being perfect or having a strict work environment. If volunteers are all really good then we can decide on something more serious, but if we're all bad then I have a fun idea where you sing weeaboo-like Japanese or something and we can try for so bad it's good, complete with nonsensical lyrics. Even if you are good, this might still be fun to do and do intentionally bad as long as it's not in the ear grating way.

2. Payment is going to be free initially, but if we appear to be moving towards a product that will make money, we can negotiate what percentage of profits go to you and, if stars align and it turns out to be a big hit, salaries for future products and a budding friendship to last a lifetime. I don't want to dig into personal funds so that's why I'd wait to see/use profits from the games themselves.

3. Female/male are both allowed. However, females would be in more high demand, as I picture them more as the singers of anime-like songs and in visual novels.

4. I can do basic guitar/piano playing and, thanks to the music software, various other instruments by putting notes down. I can handle this part but if you guys want to do instruments as well then you can. I can also draw, but obviously not on the normal visual novel level you see in professional work. I'm only about half as good right now and wish to improve. Also, I've never made a song before, so like I don't expect you guys to be perfect, I could use a little leeway here too.

5. No games/music are currently made. All I have is concepts at the moment. If you guys having something specific in mind, such as wanting to voice act a certain type of character a certain way, that could influence where I go with a game. One idea I have in mind for a dating sim as making fun of absurd harem premises, where your character dates princess of various types such as amazon, elf, alien, etc. Could have lots of fun voicing expressive characters there, as we don't need to take the premise super serious even if I do have some ideas for it that makes it more deep than it sounds.

6. Visual novels don't have to be dating sims. We could do action, horror, etc. depending on what you guys desire. Same goes for if you guys would rather do rpgs, but they require much more work so I'd like that to be more serious even if we can still have fun with it and allow a little cheesiness from time to time.

As with every story around these parts, I'd be willing to give my input, but I probably wont do much more than that (unless you knock me off my feet )

*Runs over and shoves you off your feet.

That's what you get!

Hmm...perhaps I should put this off till a later date and see what I can do solo for now. Get a better reception if I have a lot to show for something.

I wouldn't mind helping out. Would probably do more if people stay involved. I have professional experience as an artist/design.

I would love to be a part of this! I'm decent at drawing(I can link you to my deviantart) but I'm also slow at making it, I think it would be cool to voice act, and I'm a terrible singer but if you really needed it I could attempt lol

I know we're deviating from the initial plan, but if we get a lot of people interested then It would be funny if we tried to do our own anime where everyone can draw scenes from it by dividing scenes between those wanting to draw. The instrument people can create their own songs for it or we can collaborate together for songs. And of course the voice acting roles are self explanitory. We divide characters between those wanting to voice act. It seems we only have one girl at the moment, fulalu, so you'd have your work cut out for you voicing all the female characters unless more join in the fun. I should create a chatroom for us so we can discuss things easier. Feel free to invide anyone you think would have fun making an anime.

Let's make it super over the top and cliched of all our favorite anime references! Our studio can be called Team Crunchy.

We could do games as well as originally planned, but if we have a lot of people wanting to join in with drawing and such then it makes more sense to do something that would give more people stuff to do, which would be the anime.

if this is a legitimate attempt i wouldn't mind doing some voice work, i speak English and Spanish and can read a script in other languages if given time. i could see this being funny or cool. doing a VN is not hard the only difficult part would be making the artwork.

Being a legit attempt would be difficult with so many men and one women unless the plot is all the women besides one got killed off in an apocalypse!

Whatever the case, here's the chatroom so things can be discussed more easily. http://us23.chatzy.com/37386380095383
