Well let's look at this, shall we?

Robots. Hmm, a good choice, but AI leading to robot uprising while a minute possibility is a possibility. They are really cool though. My bigger concern is massive unemployment. Why hire people when robots do it better, faster, for no pay, and with no breaks? Sure, that's great, because people are free to do what they want, even if what they want won't pay. But as a society, we are not ready for that level of unemployment, especially not when it is caused because so many are unemployable through no fault of their own. Also note that reaching this level of technology would mean other fields of automation in general are greatly advanced. For reference, see GCPGrey's video "Humans Need Not Apply." It's a good summary of the unemployment problem.

Holgrams. Neat, but why? Unless I can interact with the holograms (which I'll get to in a minute) it's not nearly as cool or useful as the others. Cool, especially for 3D modeling, but not as cool. No real downsides, though

Flying Cars. GOD NO. Take the average driver and how bad they are. Now add a third dimension. Take the average number of wrecks. Now have them happen midair. Of course, spreading traffic over three-dimension would disperse it, making wrecks less likely in the first place. But it's just not worth it. Highly advanced public transit would generally be better.

Full VR. Totally cool, would totally go for. Except the line between reality and VR would fade fast if VR tech was really that good. I trust people. Not enough to not have society completely crumble. Which is also a problem because I want VR so bad.
So I'm just going to put a ? here.

Other. Personally, I'd go for altered reality. Think Google Glass but 10x better and without the the dorky headgear. Built into your glasses and hooked to your phone. Write in air and have it actually write. View information about the world in real time as you see it. Holograms alone are okay. Holograms you can interact with (AR) is even better.

So either AR or VR. VR I really want, but have misgivings.
