Anyway, I'm not happy with an ice Ninetales/Vulpix...they are meant to be fire type D:

Ninetales/Vulpix are based on foxes in Japanese folklore (kitsune). As it's basically a Pokemon styled after a fox, having an ice type variant isn't unheard of. It's basically taking the traditional red fox, more common in Japan, and replacing it with an arctic fox. It's a neat variant, IMO. I'd like to see more variants in new regions as they're rolled out

Still waiting on Mega Flygon and Mega Dragonite. I've wanted my Dragonite to hold Dragonite since Mega evolutions became a thing

I can't say I like what they've done to Vulpix and Ninetails. However I am quite excited for the Sandshrew forms; they're much cuter.
