Same. One of the local morning shows is alright, but the music is awful.

I can only handle modern pop-whatever or elevator music for so long before I plow through the crowd with my car. So I mostly keep it off.

This here is not soothing, guys.

nope the radio died around 2002. Mainstream music is terrible these days and its a shame because the best artists go unnoticed at the expense of cookie cutter artists who are rip offs and carbon copies of each other who will make the same music over again because it got popular and they will do it repetitively to milk it for all its worth while the good artists who make good music that captures you and makes you want to dance go unnoticed.

The level of quality in music has gone down. I listen to Deep House or House with Vocals and that's pretty good however the good music is overshadowed by over hyped and average music like David Guettta which imo opinion is pretty average. Where you are gonna find the most creative music that really brings you in and makes you wanna dance or sing to it is not on a mainstream radio station but a station that is known for playing everything from people who are big to people who are small ,where is big stations are just in the pockets of people with money and little stations will play music out of being a pure fan of a genre as opposed to satisfying record execs. I go on Youtube for music have done since around 2008 before that i used Limewire to explore genres of music and hear stuff that didn't get radio play.

Satellite radio or my own playlist. I don't even know what my local radio stations are here. Usually when I rent a car, I just pop my aux cord (or bluetooth) in and play what I have.

Only if I forgot my phone. Both the car radio and the stereo at work can hook up to it wireless so I can listen to what I want.

Makes sense in all honesty and can agree with that I mostly use my Ipod, internet radio, google play music, Itunes, and youtube but still listen to the radio though not all the songs are bad in all honesty but can agree quality has dropped great.

I mean their was one radio station that never played the same song within 24 hours. So you would hear something you never heard before or a song you havent heard in a long time but the owner of the station turned it into a baseball radio talk show thinking it would give him more money. Well true probably gets paid good money by the MLB but probably has barely any listeners in all honesty only good station left in my area is a station that plays 80's, 90's, and today but even then they play the same songs like every 1 or 2 hours lol.

Also agree with you on that they play all the big name people 24/7 and very rarely hear anything by a new artist/singer in all honesty but still I listen to the radio just to hear the songs I do like and see whats new and going on in all honesty and if they repeat a song or a song I dont like I just switch the station in all honesty.

Now all the new music I find is well on youtube lol. So can agree youtube is great for finding new artists, songs, and generes of music that you wont hear on any radio station at all.

No. I use my sound cloud playlists on my phone for when I'm driving. Even if I forget my phone, I would rather ride in silence in the car.

Nope, I either use my phone or listen to satellite radio. Mainly because the local rock/metal stations think that pop somehow falls into those categories.

Only in the car when I don't have anything else. Radio has too much advertising, too much people talking and too much shitty music.

My car is 13 years old with no easy AUX cable. I have no choice but to listen to local radio. Minus the commercials, I don't really mind it.
