Title says it all. Also if you are, do you like the way the app is? Could you think of any way improvements could be made?

Personally, I kind of wish that the app was like how it is on PS4. It looks a lot nicer and a lot more finished than whats currently on Roku. Especially the My Shows tab.

First, let me preface this by saying I do not want a Playstation interface back again. I did not like that at all. A Roku app should look like a Roku app, not something else, like a game console.

But yes, (despite) having said that, there is quite a bit of room for improvement in the current app. And despite everything I'm going to say below, I still do like the current CR app better than that last one, and better than either of Funimation's Roku or Fire TV apps.

So, here goes...

Get rid of the pop-up menu entirely and put the remaining functionality directly in the menu stripe (or a top of screen fixed menu) where it belongs. That was the most confusing thing ever conceived of, and it needs to go away to be much simpler.

Re-order the menu to be "queue|anime|drama|search|settings(login) with queue first, and show that menu fully present when you start the app, instead of having to hit left to go to drama and anime pages, or still needing to navigate down to get to your queued stripe.

Now that you are done with the popup, the "play/pause" button can be used to directly start playing an episode in the queue. The center/OK button continues to do what it does now, a sub menu for going into the series (or playing)

When you enter the app (on the "My Shows" page), land directly on the show stripe, not the menu stripe. Instead you must push the up arrow to get to the (fully visible) menu at the top.

Have the stripe navigation wrap both left and right.

Have configuration settings available for limiting maximum resolution, and autoplay Y/N and number of seconds.

Either bring back the FF key to skip to the next alphabetical letter, or else just have a sub-menu for each letter, similar to the way the Genres stripe has it now.

Fix the time to next simulcast episode availability display. It is off by something like 8 or 9 hours.

Allow for queue ordering the same way the main Roku menu does it for channels (with the * key). Models without a * key can still use the web, or they can get a Roku app on their Phone/Tablet/Browser

Allow any place that accepts text entry to be filled in with a Phone/Tablet/Browser app which all have better keyboard functionality.

Show the progress bar again, or at least have a "watched" indicator icon.

And this may be controversial, but you don't need FF/REV and L/R arrows to have basically the same functionality. Keep the little windows for one or the other, but return the one and only bit of useful functionality from the last iteration where one or the other of either FF or Right Arrow goes to the next show if you are currently near the end of an episode.

I can't imagine that covers everything...

Wow you really thought of everything. I would be fine without it being exactly like the PS4 version, however I don't see a big problem or a huge reason for it not to be that way. I just got my Roku so maybe when it was like that there were issues with it.

However the points that you make are awesome and really would help the app out.

I just personally feel like the current look seems dated, and kind of a step back to console versions of the app. The huge amount of gray background space that is present due to the small thumbnails in queue and even the small covers on the homepage gives the app such a bland look. With the console versions, while the gray background is still there most of it is covered by colourful thumbnails or cover art so that the app just didn't feel like an "empty void" for lack of a better term. It feels like there is more going on with the PS4 app. I guess you could say I have more of an issue with the design of the app rather than the mechanics. (If that makes sense lol)

But once again, the suggestions that you make are really great, I'd love to see them implemented because they would make things so much more quick and easy to deal with.

Thanks so much for leaving your opinion!

As a Roku 3 users, I definitely agree with these suggestions. Would love it if CR got rid of the pop-up menu.

What I'd really like is the ability to control the Roku app via the iOS app. I do this with YouTube, and the difference in usability is enormous.

Would I be correct in assuming you mean via the CR app as opposed to Roku's own remote control app?
