I think it's very feasible (as I've seen plenty of people do) to work in a field you're adept in while keeping your passion as a hobby to satiate your craving for it. The most prominent example would probably be art. It's very difficult to make consistent income without enough exposure or talent, so pursuing that on the side while working to pay the bills is a decent compromise.

Sure why not talent isn't some mythical gift of God, it's the result of hard work and absolute dedication to your chosen path in life. Sure passion and dreams help but nothing was ever born out of laziness. Pick something ya can at the very least stand to do and dedicate yourself to collecting the skills and experience that will give you the talent to thrive in that field. It isn't rocket science and no one born in the First World has an excuse not to succeed barring some sort of birth defect.

I am just sick and tied of lazy cowards complaining every two damn seconds how hard their lives are. You aren't some African orphan growing up in the midst of a genocidal war waged by local warlords. You had a public education that was free of cost and provided the basics for you to build upon. 2 or so billion people beside you and ahead of you managed to find their place in life with the same advantages you had what the fuck is your excuse?

So you're saying that if I'm good at sniping then I should aim to please?

I can't take credit for that one.

Do it for yourself, not for others.

Ultimately when we do things for ourselves, we can then do something for the sake of others.

Like graduating college for an associates degree in Renewable energies and doing fuck all with it. Hey look at that, A fucking transcript that allows me to apply my dreams, and a nice big old piece a paper with a seal. Don't make me fucking laugh.

Sure lets introduce FIT and microFIT programs to introduce the new wave of Renewable energy. Lets apply Solar Azimuth angles, solar hours, and Micro inverters to properly manage your energy. Lets tell all about the De rate factor of your panels so that in less than 20 years of your proposed project outlook and expectations, you will be outputting about 10-15% less.

yes lets just tell people that the expected pay back for your system will take years unless you actually have the money to invest in it, which by the way is fucking brilliant, and anyone with a brain would jump into this, but only if you are a rich mother fucker looking to cash in, or you have amazing sunlight exposure in your area.

You know what the funny thing is. I have learned more outside of college than when I was in it. It's the way people think, how you can manage your money. If I wanted to base my life on riches and profit, I will do so with my own desire and dreams. I have a dream, I want to write, I want to create stories that will one day reach out.

I've watched countless people drop out of that course, because it was too hard for them, but I am sitting here laughing at the fact I am a graduate, not with disrespect, but from what I have seen within that college.

From DC to AC electrical courses, to PLC's, Thermal Dynamics, Construction, general knowledge of AutoCAD, Wind turbines, generators, to simple applications of solar installation and Geo thermal........ Its amazing information, but it means FUCK ALL TO ME, let the people who are dedicated to the field earn this respect, not some fucking kid who expects a good paying job.

I call myself lazy, but now that I think about it, when I put my mind to anything, I can accomplish anything

I'm a great programmer and have been doing it for years. Problem is you can absolutely be good at something but then eventually come to realize you hate doing it. So now I'm going to school for art and pursuing an artistic career even though I could easily ride through life with comfy wage-slave programming gigs. But since switching to something I like rather than something I'm good at, I've felt a lot better just about life in general. So I guess tldr; the article seems is bullocks.
