秋葉大作戦 [募集]

I will be staying in Akihabara for 8 days (actually 10, but won't try accomplishing any objectives 1st day or last)
Looking for people who will be in or around Tokyo because I'm dropping into unfamiliar territory, and the one person currently going with me will be equally clueless. More people joining, even if clueless, would mean more pairs of eyes while searching.

Operating period:
November 16th through 24th

Operating duration:
Minimum 3 days, maximum 4 days depending on personnel recruitment

Primary objectives:
- Watch AKB48 perform live at Don Quijote [edit I just found out that THIS IS AN IMPOSSIBLE TASK, objective abandoned ]
- Figurine shops at Radio Kaikan
- Figurine store Liberty #8
- Anime merch shops at Akihabara Culture Zone
- Main ANIMATE store building
- Main GAMERS store building
- Love Live merch

Secondary objectives:
- Visit SEGA arcade building
- Order something at a maid cafe - omelette rice?
- Figurine store Liberty #13
- Mandarake building
- Love Live merch at Kanda Shrine
- Netoge merch
- Find figurines from How To Raise A Boring Girlfriend

Bonus objectives:
- Play one game at a pachinko parlor
- Stand in line for "easy" crane game
- Buy Sushi Girl from vending machine
- Buy model trash from vending machine
- Buy something really strange from Don Quijote
- Used games and books shops
- Studio Ghibli Museum (out of area, consider to be special operation for 5th day)

Recruits will receive IOU1 card (hand drawn) and eternal gratitude at the end of operation

3 months is really short notice so... Yeah, I'm kind of thinking on the extremely off-chance that someone already planned to be in the area or is already living there.

Honestly I would but I've no passport, no time off work, no money and equally no clue as I've never been to Japan

Sounds fun, I live in tokyo so depending on my work schedule i'd be happy to come along for a few days. At the very least I should be able to go for 1 or 2 days. I've been meaning to buy some figurines lately anyway. now I have a couple months to save for some.

I went to Akiba earlier this year so I won't go back until next year but I'm really happy for you. Small bit of advice: careful with the maid cafes, some will try to rip you off. Also check out any store that looks interesting, you might find some awesome stuff. Other than that go nuts!

Thanks. From what I've read, all of them are overpriced and there's only maybe just one or two that doesn't have a table charge!
