If you liked someone, but they didn't like you back, would you still continue trying to win their heart?

I'm just hoping some of you end up with lucky relationships now. Honestly, even as a teen it could work out well if both are willing to invest a lot and be mature about it. Honestly, one of my homies started "dating" this girl when they were 12 and ended up being together til like 19 but there were a lot of family problems on my homie's side, rip.

Yeah, I know about 3 or 4 more relationships like that, but that's it. It's definitely extremely rare.

On another note, my wallet looks like that all the time. But if I had money and a gf, it wouldn't look like that.

How can the wallet not look like that when you have a gurlfriend?

While all girls are not like that, if my girl is she's gone anyways lmao. We've gotta be together for a while for me to even ponder spending cash on you. I've seen soooooo many people spend hundreds and thousands on a girl in one night then they break up soon afterwards and I laugh. I'm definitely not ending up like that.

Well not for me, I don't get in relationships like that. I can't give my attention all the time, I highly doubt you're getting cash out of me, and I'm definitely not gonna give up all of my freedom.

Some of them, yes. Some are also a few years older than me. While a lot of them regret this if it happens to them some say things along the line of, "No, I don't feel like it was a waste of money, I bought it because I love her/him, that's all there is to it." Though I can't be like that, because again, it'll take a while just for me to want to spend anything on you. If we break up after I do spend money like that on you I will be upset and it will feel like a waste.

My affection does not yield to my own greed, it requires nothing in return. Naturally, it makes sense to wish for mutual feelings, but my fondness of another means I put their happiness before my own, whether it means I am in the picture or not. I am not a pushover, however, and will not stand for someone who realises this about me and decides to abuse it. Anyone who would attempt to do so would lose most value in my eyes.

I will not outwardly give chase, because I believe anyone that is worth while will make their own decision and would not be so easily influenced by simple persistence. My consideration and care are not so simple, and anyone that focuses on superficialities will likely not be able to appreciate me as a partner, and it would simply not work out anyway.

I neither run away or chase, because I refuse to be a stress on someone I like. Instead, I am steadfast and offer my support if desired. This either leads to my desired outcome or my romantic fixation running thin and naturally turning more into a friendship level of care. When done this way, neither party is hurt. Giving chase can lead to feelings of guilt of the receiving party, and giving up can lead to the receiving party feeling they are of low value, and I refuse to make someone I care for feel either of these ways.
