Something like this for my Son's hamster, Fatties, which seems to be mine now. He (and his Mum, obviously) moved down south and couldn't take him with, so I've been left with the small furry git.

I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I am actually quite good at making things out of wood. So far I've made a poker table, a bar, a pretty large cabinet, and a backyard porch. Sadly I don't have pictures though, I gave them all to different family members as gifts. I would love to make a canoe though!

Woodworking is actually not that hard. All you need is someone willing to show you how to operate the machinery and what not. Then you just start with some small projects and build up from there.

That may be true, I just wish I had more free time to make things. College can really sap away at it.

I have actually always wanted to build a full-sized Greco-Roman temple out of wood. I think that would be a really cool thing to construct somewhere in the American Southwest.

A Native American Flute, or a Japanese Shakuhachi, I'd even settle for a good recorder (the instrument ofcourse).
