A certain thing I've noticed about online arguments.

I believe it's no secret that on this site when people argue they can be a bit arrogant.
I see it so often that people will make their "stunning and eloquent" arguments and they like to put a couple of these bad boys up in there. I'm talkin' 'bout these. and . You've seen these before, right?
This is quite an example of the bravery a screen, distance, and some anonymity will give you.
I don't think most of you could do this face to face. For example if you were to have an argument with me and you decided to laugh in my face or roll your eyes at me then we'd be havin' some issues. Let's just say you might not do that to me anymore. I'd just scream at you but when you act that way you're just begging to get backhanded and so many people are just so generous that they'd be happy to oblige you.
So to recap. In person this and this can easily become this and this because they aren't this .
Any questions?

People are fearless behind closed doors. Ignore your inferiors. They only waste your time

There is truth in this but i do express my opinions in real life and say what i feel to peoples faces. However, iam still polite and not a dick in real life and yes it's easier to be aggressive or an ass and laugh in peopels faces over the internet.
I will admit that sometimes in real life i will go along with or agree with someone even if i do not entirely. Sometimes its just easier or less effort or prevents tension or violence or sometimes i just dont really care lol.
But i do tend to be very opinionated and i do express them quite openly.

You wouldn't like me in real life then.

Sure, I'm a bit more curt online, but I definitely don't hold back my thoughts in person.

If I use then you can bet that is my reaction in real life too. Honestly you are the one who sounds like a keyboard warrior, suggesting you would "backhand" someone because you don't like the expression on their face.

"lets just say you might not do that to me anymore".

Keyboard warrior. Wow. I should draw that.
Hehehehahahaha! Here. Have it back.
I'm not physically violent. My bark is much worse than my bite. I suggest that other people are violent and might backhand someone. I think you'll find eye rolling ain't so cute face to face.

As kinga pointed out, you seem more like they keyboard warrior and are just as arrogant. Anything I say or do online I will do it in front of you or to you, and that whole, "You might not do that to me anymore" shit won't work lol.

Do I? I'm sorry to come across that way. I think you'd find me quite charming in person.

I am always this way regardless of the medium I am speaking through. What weak willed fool acts differently one minute to the next? I was always taught honesty was one of the greatest virtues.

I hardly find anyone charming in person. And there's no need to apologize, just letting you know you sound just like the people you're talking about.

I agree, however most people only like "honesty" when it's something they wanna hear, quite sad really.

Never had enough emoticons to pull those faces. Since it's available here, I'll put this on my to-do list, Zavin.

What I noticed is a lot of buzzwords like "conservative" "liberal" and so forth to back their argument.
