I am having one of those 'waves' that come and go, usually they just last few hours.
But this one is different, it has lasted almost a day + yesterday evening.

If you get one of those paranoia or weirdo thingys, what do you do to stop being afraid?

It may be because of the conspiracy sites i was on yesterday...

I don't have such issues, but like I said I think the best solutions are strong (in terms of potential feelings) physical interactions which should force you to enter reality again. Not necessary my ways.

Two simple choices work ...

1. Meditation - https://www.google.com/?ion=1&espv=2#q=meditation%20techniques%20for%20anxiety

Meditation and relaxing techniques help A LOT! Read up on them.

2. Headphones in the dark with eyes closed - Sometimes it works with calm, soothing music (mellow Floyd for me), other times with Nature sounds MP3s (my favorite is a flowing brook).

Little things like those do wonders to keep me sane when I'm climbing walls.
