I prefer for people to use my real name. Instead or Kerst or whatever my online name happened to be at that time.

Not even my partner calls me by my real name. I'm instead nicknamed "Yon". So no.

I'm fine with it.

What's weird is when my online alias becomes so tantamount to how people see me that they start calling me by my alias in RL. When I lead a WoW guild that hosted a number of my college mates, it wasn't uncommon for me to walk down the street with my business college classmates and someone yells, "Hey Dyo!" to me. That becomes difficult to explain to colleagues, haha.
