I can't seem to play any videos on my desktop computer. They all work perfectly fine on my laptop though, and flash settings are the same for both, and both are running Win10 with the edge browser.

Anytime I click on a video to watch, the player is completely blank. It loads flash, so I can right click and change the settings, but it just sits there completely blank with no video or controls loaded.
Anyone else have this problem or a suggestion on a solution?

Try the Universal Windows app instead:

Well, maybe not perfect, but I just use the up/down arrow keys... It takes several presses or holding it down to get movement started or change directions, but it does work for me. I can't get my scroll wheel to do anything in there, either and it's not broken.

I still need a solution to my problem, and using the app isn't it. Do you have any ideas how to fix my problem?

I've used chrome and Firefox as well, and edge doesn't have an adblocker in it.

Bumping a long dead thread, but I am having this exact same problem. For three days now the flash players on this site have been invisible. I don't have any ad blocking software on this browser so that isn't the cause. I've tried reloading the pages, I tried changing the video quality, I even tried to change the subtitle languages but the video player of the: http://www.crunchyroll.com/vendor/StandardVideoPlayer-10dff2a.swf never appears instead all I see is the background for the webpage itself in the area normally see the video player. I know that's the problem because I inspected it in Firefox. Anyone know how to fix this? The universal app apparently isn't universal as it states this pc laptop can't use it, and I don't have a smart phone so I can't use it that way.

I had the problem with FireFox, at first it use to ask me if I wanted to allow flash on the page then it stop. So I moved over to Chrome which works.

I have a bare-bones new install of the latest Firefox version 56.0.2 running, all default settings, and have the latest Flash update 27.0.0.170 applied, and it is working for me. If you have both of those at the latest versions, perhaps you have some plug-in or extension applied that is interfering with Flash. You could try opening a "New Private Window" and see if that works. If so, you need to disable your plug-ins one at a time to see which one is the problem.

Maybe you need to refresh firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

Or else perhaps try a clean install or a different browser..

Thanks both of you! I figured out the cause once I narrowed it down to being interference from something.

Turns out exactly the same number of days ago Firefox applied a new in the background extension called Safe Browsing Version 4 API and that is what suddenly made my Crunchyroll stop working. I had no clue it was even installed. It is intended to protect against unsafe sites but for some reason it was flagging Crunchyroll's swf player. :/

I disabled it in my browser and reloaded Crunchy for immediate player display.

Annoying though cause it means I have to keep switching it on and off when I start and finish using Crunchy since it apparently is important for avoiding harmful sites and thanks to ad banners not always double checking their advertiser's before including an ad I've in the past ran into perfectly good sites like ff.net and deviantart suddenly putting viruses or fake virus / fbi warning type nonsense.

Edit: I actually have Firefox 56.0.1 instead of 56.0.2 so I'll try updating to see if that fixes the issue so I don't have to keep flipping the extension on and off.

In Microsoft Edge, you should check the following adjustments before play:

* On Edge, to to Settings > Advanced Settings.

- Check if "Use Adobe Flash Player" is enabled. If disabled, turn it on this adjustment, and exit settings.

When you're browsing you can move the mouse over the "show website information"; which is at the left of the web address. This icon changes into a lock when you're on Secure Page, but adjustment is the same.

Click there, and you will see two things: Security and a slider under the "Web Site Permisions", which says "Adobe Flash", and it's turned OFF by default.

Enable it, and refresh the page. You can now play with Flash using Edge.

You can also see the "Click-to-Flash" feature, when you go and play a video. But, using the adjustments above, Flash player will be enabled as default on Crunchyroll.

As a side note, when you clear the browser data, uncheck "website permissions", to prevent the re-enabling of the security measures.

Take note, if you are using Insider Builds, Flash Player may not work as it should. In that case, you can open the video on Internet Explorer, by going to menu (the 3 dots), and clicking in "Open with Internet Explorer". You may be required to log in again.

Sometimes your computer has problems realizing what to do. You might just have to go directly to the player's url and directly tell your computer to trust it. Worked for me.
