I'm not going to try to uh "Normalize" it, but at the same time I doubt I'll go out of my way to call you a fat fuck or whatever. Honestly, the only people I wanna worry about losing weight would be my homies and my family, and most of my homies are fit and healthy anyways. However, from what I've seen myself a lot of these "Let's make fat normal" people are extremely hypocritical and that bothers me a bit.

I dont see that as fat.

I agree that we should not be dicks to people about it.
But i dont want to encourage "Fat Pride" either.

I guess based on Asian standards, I am.

I think Fat "Pride" or even Skinny "Pride" is silly. One should be proud for who they are, not what they look like.

There was a time when being body positive was about loving yourself, not allowing others to bring you down, make fun of you, make you feel like garbage so that you can work on building your self esteem AND take care of yourself. "Your body is a Temple" and all that nice hippy stuff. Then the crazies moved in like they do with all movements and it became "I'll eat all the freaking Cheetos I want, beyach!"

While I don't agree with that way of thinking, I do understand where it's coming from. They have a right to tell anyone who don't like them (for whatever reason anyone chooses not to like them) to p*ss off. No one is obligated to listen to negative talk and certainly aren't obligated to allow themselves to be put down by others. So I do admire when anyone stands up for themselves.

I think a lot of people fail to realize that people respond much better to positive words and energy than berating.

Personally, I'm not bothered by either side of the body positive debate. I workout and want to lose weight because I want to be healthy, live as long as I can, get around better, and look good. That also includes eating organic and not stuffing my body with harsh chemicals our government feels the need to pump our bodies full of because someone cut them a nice fat check. But I don't feel the need to run around telling other people what they should eat and how they should look. That's none of my business.

P.S. My family still says I'm fat and should go on a diet.
Well its nothing wrong with it (from what I can see)
A little fat is just good (some like to have something they can hold.. not "break")
To that with building muscles and how much of that would become fat after a year or more is bad in few ways...
I see that you still got something sitting around your cheeks else if that could maybe become more "normal" (not trying to be rude) you would look much "healthier" as for an impression while keeping that sexy cuddling meat and not such overflowing fat that others have.

So to know the difference between good fat and bad fat is a starter, where you want to go and not exclude food that would be important for you just because it contains fat.
Sometimes were those on a diet fails and become unhealthy or just bad for you (or in extreme cases fall so low, it would be dangerous).

But now where do you think, your body stands on where you want it to be or it's fine for now? (in the direction its going for now)
Also to think skinner people should watch themselfs as much as others before the fat is taking their insides for the worse.

I'm obese as well, 230 pounds when I should be around 150-175~. I don't think people should treat me any different for being obese, but at the same time, people shouldn't accept being obese as okay. Then people who are obese will just accept it and not do anything to improve themselves. For example, I go to the gym 3 - 5 days a week for an hour at a time and try to eat better. I don't do it because how others view me, I do it for myself because I don't feel comfortable hauling an extra 55 - 80 pounds.

Fat and obese is not the same thing. There is nothing wrong with being fat but being obese is dangerous and very unhealthy.

yeah, it nice to move freely and be able to tackle things easier.
Also that of some people that barely can go down because of issues sometimes born with (maybe from parents) where they would still have fat even if they went on a diet and to just starve which is no good.

To know that they need training and to improve their health, future as it can be quite depressing living with it until you are 40 and would love to do more then being hold back by weight to do the things you would want to do.

im overweight though i do try and keep under control which all things considered i do keep it under control i would say.but i would rpefer get into the health weight category if possible. i personally think the fat acceptance movement is just trying to excuse their laziness and bad health choices. i especially hate the ones who try and make up a excuse like have a certain illness or whatever. and even if their telling the truth even then a lot of the times its still nothing but a excuse for laziness and bad health choices primarily of which is letting their obesity getting out of control. since even then its still quite possible to at least keep under control even keep a health weight/fitness level it just takes some effort and im speaking from experience that excuse shouldn't be enough in most of their cases it seems.

I'm on the wall with this one. On the one hand, I don't mind overweight, but there is a line to be drawn. Frankly speaking, people who build fat for the sake of being fat disgust me--moreso when they are morbidly obese, lethargic, and and abusive of "handicapped" privileges. In that regard, I am sorry for people who are genetically predisposed to weight gain and, despite all effort, can't help being overweight. Parents who take pride in their "chubby" children--who, in reality, are grotesquely obese and will probably have crippled social lives--really piss me off. That isn't saying that I am going to go out of my way to disparage obese people. Rather, I overlook it entirely--I'm not going to socialize with you in any manner but passing, but I'm not going to berate you either. In the end, it's your body, and you can maintain it however you see fit, even if your lifestyle is commensurate to slow suicide.

No excuse for fat people.

Fat people= people who pretty much consider their lifestyle disposable income, and being lazy.

I understand. We get old, our metabolism changes..... ok..... but I'm not eating 12 Fucking hot dogs in one sitting combined with a bag of smarties and a side of grease.

Sure, everybody loves to eat sweets, but it shouldn't be eaten on a daylee.

Oh but food helps me cope..... oh you poor thing, here let me just get you some more cake sweety.

I love to eat, but I also love to stay in shape, what's so hard about doing that? Enjoy the spice of life, but learn to even it out, respect your body, because you only got one.

Whatever, businesses, corporations , they love fat people. Come to MC dicks and try our 100% non beef product, come on down to burger King and stuff your face with a whopper, you don't even have to cook big boy. Oh they love fat people, because they spend moneh, lots and lots of moneh to help feed and grow that corporation, because laziness is profit, and you can Fucking take that to the bank sir.

I'm obsese and my lifestyle is around me coping with stress which eating is the only way in 10 years i have found.

Lazy? I work out 1-2 hours a day what do you do infact i'm more physically active then most people i have met who are fit.

You don't understand eating as a coping mechanism but that's fine would you rather i take my stress out on you causing physical harm to you to cope instead ^^ because hurting others is my other coping mechanism however i prefer not to go down that path.

You sound like an awful person and i'm sorry for whoever marrys you or whoever is your friend :(

XD

Alright, this can't be serious.

But I'm going to kindly laugh at you and move on with my time, because I am such an awful person. Suggesting to harm someone over the Internet I wish you would cup cake
