Nice job not cracking the center. What method do you use?

OMG I LOVE TIRAMISU!!! *drools*

Anyway, I love to cook and I think I'm pretty good at it. I recently subscribed to Blue Apron and made this for lunch the other day:

Seared Pork Chops & Plum Salsa

Shared it with my coworkers and they all loved it. ^-^

That looks super delicious,

What all comes with your Blue Apron subscription?

I use a water bath for my cheesecakes. They can still crack and/or collapse if I don't pay attention to the cooling process.

You get recipes and all the ingredients for 3 meals for 2 every week.

What I received last week:

I tried a water bath once, wasn't a fan. I prefer a 15 minute flash bake at 500 then 2 hours at 275.

I got half off the first order so I paid only about thirty bucks for that. The regular price is about sixty a week, but since I'm alone and they equal six meals for me, I decided I'll get it every other week depending on if I like their menu.

Holy garbanzos that's expensive. Wouldn't it be better to just buy your own items and pick your own recipes? Is it worth it?

Actually, buying the same ingredients would cost a lot more if I go to buy them myself, plus I'd have way more than is necessary for a meal or two. Like I said, I live by myself so I don't need that much food. I also don't have a full-sized fridge to store a lot of food in. I decided to try it because I was getting the half off and I was really curious to see how the service worked. Personally, I think it's a good deal for me since there's no wasted food. I get just enough for the recipe and I can have them for dinner and then lunch the next day. It also saves me time worrying about what to cook with what I have. That's just the way that I'm looking at it. $120 a month for food isn't a bad deal for me, especially knowing that I'm not throwing anything away.

I'm ok-ish at somethings, I guess. I've been cooking my own meals since high school, so I got passable at some things. Among them are calf liver, shrimp, eggs, rice, pasta, potatoes, meatballs, some fishes, and chicken breast.

I think I'm okay, but I'm just to lazy most of the time to put together a really good dish so most of my meals tend to be simple.
