I'm wondering how they count it.. I mean China got 15 Gold, 13 Silver and 17 Bronze.. But Great Britain also got 15 Gold, but more silver 16 Silver and less Bronze 7..

It showed that China is in second place and Great Britain is in third place?! Shouldn't Great Britain be in second place by now due to having more Silver?

Both got same Gold, GB got 3 more silver, but less than 10 Bronze..

My question is how do they goes by this.. is it like Bronze = 2 points, Silver = 5 points, Gold = 10 points? I have no idea if they even do points..

Does anyone know how they work it?

So far USA got 26 Gold, 20 Silver and 21 Bronze, so of course they're in first place..

Thank you for your time

Please ask this in your existing thread about Olympic medals counts:

I'm closing this since it doesn't seem suitable for a General Discussion topic when we already have your medals thread, and there's also a general Rio Olympics thread.
