I'm not asking for much here...
But It would be SEVERELY appreciated if as a Premium, xbox user, member I could use the Crunchyroll Xbox app RELIABLY. I can't even remember the last time I didn't have to pray my app actually stayed open instead of crashing immediately after opening it. The thing that breaks my heart the most is I have literally NO problems on ANY OTHER PLATFORM. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS SEVERELY BROKEN APP!

Is it crashing literally as you open it, or is it crashing when you go into the queue section?

I hit it to open and loads the Anime main page, then crashes immediately.

Hello, I actually had the exact same problem. I don't know if the cause is the same because I believe my issue was caused by a device linking error where my account kept auto-linking to my long gone Xbox 360 (even after unlink and deactivation) since I used the same gamertag on both my 360 and Xbox One. Anyway, I found these steps on a closed thread from about a month ago which allowed me to use the app again after I did the last step.

1. Log into your account on the web and remove all Xbox references from in the My Devices section of your account settings https://www.crunchyroll.com/acct/?action=devices
2. Remove Crunchyroll App from Xbox One
3. Restart Console
4. Re-install Crunchyroll App
5. Log in by entering your account email and password
6. If the problem persists after step 5. Create a new non-gold Xbox profile/gamertag and try repeating the process while signed in on the new gamertag

Again, I had to go to step 6 which was only a suggestion on the old thread since the OP solved his issue with the 5 steps so you may be fine without creating a new profile. Doesn't quite fix the app but I can now watch anime off my Xbox One so it's an acceptable and free quick fix till the actual problem is resolved. Hope this helps and that somebody at CR or Microsoft looks into the issue!
