A children's picture book, sure.

I used to be a very good speed reader, but I've slowed down so much and don't have a lot of free time. It takes me significantly longer to read anything nowadays.

I can and I I have but I've only ever done so once because of an approaching school deadline. I am an especially slow reader by design as I like to re read and even read out loud.

I can if I find the book interesting enough, or if I'm really bored

I used to be able to finish in a day but now I have a tendency to reread lines and my eyes have trouble focusing after reading text for over an hour, so my pace has slowed down considerably.

I usually limit myself to 100 pages a day in order to achieve retention. So what I'm reading right now (Phenomenology of Spirit by Georg Hegel), will take me 6 days to complete.

Yup. I've killed an 800-paged book in 15 hours.

I managed to read Order of the Phoenix in one day, but I was at summer cottage of our family and that was long 'fore widespread proliferation of the mobile internet devices in these parts.

These days probaly could read sub 300 page book in a day if it was gripping enough.

how big's the book? i'm a slow reader but i read Animal Farm in a day... technically less because i started it when i finished school for the day and was done before bed. i can also finished manga in about an hour-hour and a half depending on how invested i am. if you're hoping to read a full novel in a day without any distraction, at an average reading speed, i think you could get 3/4 of the way done. if you're planning on read It for example in a day, i highly doubt you could.
