Hmm physical pain can be controlled mentally even more so if your strong willed but also with pain killers.

Emotional pain can also be controlled to an extent with medication but it might leave you numb. Also emotional pain can lead to depression and other conditions that can have a more negative result in the form of physical harm.

Both are bad but if one would have to be chosen the physical would be the more manageable one in my opinion.

Physical pain definitely. Emotional pain can leave lasting mental damage whereas physical pain can be controlled with painkillers and will eventually go away.

They both suck but emotional pain is the worse.

What's that one corny line again? Physical wounds heal, but emotional ones don't? Anyways I agree with that statement.

Physical pain is bearable to an extent.

Emotional pain is a killer.

If I have to choose, physical any day. Had my share of shit things, and to be honest a broken ankle is still walkable if you have to. But broken mind due to emotional is not something you can just bite your teeth and walk off (Pun intended).

Define "emotional pain"

; Emotional pain ;; Psychological pain or mental pain is an unpleasant feeling (a suffering) of a psychological, non-physical, origin. A pioneer in the field of suicidology, Edwin S. Shneidman, described it as "how much you hurt as a human being. It is mental suffering; mental torment."

it's easier to deal with physical pain which more often then not is short term compared to long lasting emotional pain that can even cause people to kill themselves or completely go insane..

I live with mental diseases like depression, anxiety, and anger. I used to cut myself because it was easier to feel and physically SEE the wounds. Emotional pain isn't something you can see or sometimes really understand but a cut on the arm or leg or w/e is easier to explain to people than your life problems.

PS: I don't do it anymore after an accident.

Both are bad. But if I must choose I'd rather deal with physical pain than emotional pain.
