So, should we have the right to die? Is it really selfish to want to die? Who do we really live for in this world? What are your thoughts on this?

Scintillating feces discussions aside, like most things in life, this isn't a black and white issue.

My grandfather died from stomach cancer. For those of you who haven't experienced it (hopefully all of you), it kills you very slowly, and very painfully. He spent his final weeks addicted to a drug that no longer really dulled the pain.

On the other hand, someone I know who has young children that are dependent upon them, tried to commit suicide due to depression.

At the end of the day, I feel it's cruel to prolong someone's suffering past a certain point. Yet it's also cruel and selfish to take the easy way out while ignoring your responsibilities toward others.

I support voluntary euthanasia in the case of people diagnosed with terminal illnesses or injuries who are experiencing or expect to experience extreme pain and suffering.

yes sometimes a person for example lets say has terminal cancer or similar severity disease or such their not going to get better and what remains of their life likely won't be pleasant plus the resource that might be spent on the person to keep them more comfortable or whatever could be used else were.so it should be a choice. now if someone doesn't want to end their life early i would think they should be encouraged to volunteer for experimental treatments and such if that's not already the case.i also tink their should be some somewhat strict regulations for it as well though. like having a 2nd 3rd and maybe even forth opinion on the patients state and such

No, the reason is the same as suicide. Life is precious, ALL life. To do this is to play God, and play at deciding life and death. It is NEVER okay.

If suffering from illness and bad health then maybe but not until youth has past so that a mature decision can be made - not before 40.
