Except SAs runner, Caster Semenya isn't female [cut short]. She's male with undescended testes. She is, and always has been, biologically male. This was actually discovered because she dominated in all of the olympic events she was in previously by such a huge margin that this controversy arose as far back as 2009, as far as journalistic sources go.

She isn't "trans" [cut short]. She has lived her entire life as a woman, but grew up male. To those stating "muscular and skeletal structure don't change from post pubescent hormone treatments," you're absolutely correct. She never underwent therapy. She's experienced the developmental benefits of higher testosterone levels for her entire life. In terms of her league, she's effectively been on steroids in the womens league for the past 25 years or so now.

I don't mean to be pedantic just for the sake of being pedantic, but now, and only now can I agree with your post. I don't have separate terms to distinguish between sex and gender in my language, but the English language does. On sensitive topics such as this it can be wise to facilitate when you are in fact referring to someone's biology, not attempting to skew their identity. You frequently use the correct gender pronoun, so I can assume that you're only speaking in terms of biology, but I'm just mentioning it, because it could easily lead to misunderstanding.

The olympics is all about how some people are more athletic than others so I think women should compete with men and anyone that wants to separate the results into different demographics can do so.

thats silly..
Sure you can have your own opinion.
Equal as in equal human rights (free speech, etc).
We are not equal in any shape or form.
That needs to be treated differently and why US got to be such a special snowflake in nearly anything.

Yeah, if Hrafna wants to show extra consideration and spoiler that, she may, but sometimes we just have to suffer with our own peculiarities a little when we bump into something that freaks us out. It's close to bottom of page, so maybe just don't click into the thread until we're onto the next one.

Brah... Ever seen people lose their minds when someone says "You can't do that, that's a man's job" etc? People wanna get rid of that mindset and stop women from being seen as weak sackless fragile beings that need a man to depend on. Basically saying women can do what men can do too.

If they transitioned before or during early puberty (I won't judge) then I'd feel more inclined to say it's fairer, since all those hormones to screw with our bodies wouldn't have gone into full effect.

by doing this, or from what you are saying.. it seem to support that mindset.
I wish you could tackle that things are different though not as a higher grade or lower.
But that we are different, tackle things differently, and build to tackle different jobs.

Why I see most females go out of physical jobs and more into office jobs/paper work or such.
(some could be due to age, for a family or children)
While once in a while I see those more physical working ladies and they are so different and I love that. XP
Even though girls might be more physical in some areas then others or find some things more fun.
Do you enjoy the same things as the other gender and in the same way? (most be rare for that being the case)

I might be just rambling on... quacking along, well there is a difference and it should be dealt with as they try to do.
How you said it was going to be dealt with... seems quite awfull.

"Basically saying women can do what men can do too."

So could you also say about the things a man can't do as well?
On a basis I agree, in a larger scale I disagree strongly with that statement.
