I like to think that there's some starving child out there (hopefully in Africa) who's got it worse than I do.

It sucks when you get depressed and drink heavy then dont go to work and get more depressed because you now feel guilty about not going to work, then more depressed because you stay in bed all day, then more depressed because you're hung over as fuck, then more depressed because you have to get a doctors certificate, then more because its already knock off times and you've done nothing and then more because you completely wastid the day and now its time to go to bed again, then more because you have no sick leave left and now you will get a shit pay.

lol but iam talking about my own personal experiences I dont drink out of depression though but due to the example above it sure can cause it.

I've snapped of it now, after doing it several times recently...

Yep it does suck. I've been a previous alcoholic due to it and even heavily medicated due to it for years. One of the biggest things I can recommend is build structure in your life and stay productive.

A bit of a generic response but, it really does help.

Wow we actually have something in common? Who would've thought? A simple minded idiot like me has something in common with you!

The thing is, once you get over depression, you're grateful you went through it. Because afterwards, you can appreciate the good more.and have a better time than before. Job (from the Bible) had depression once he lost most of his possessions, had a wife that encouraged him to do what he wouldn't do, and the rest of his family. But once he got through it, he got more than he ever had before.

Wow it's been a month since I last posted this (or anything in general). I just need to say one last thing if anyone wants to read this but I am aware (always have been aware) there are people who have it definitely have it worse whether it comes to depression or just daily life in general but aside from that about a month ago when I posted that I definitely felt like I was at rock bottom. I think we all know that is never a great feeling to have and it definitely sucks, I am glad to be apart of the community here on Crunchyroll cause there's A LOT of great people on here! What I'm trying to say is that since the last time posting on here I've definitely been in a better mood lately. I've read pretty much everything on this thread and like I said I'm very glad to apart of the Crunchyroll community.

Peace & Love to all!

Well, yeah, whether its the common garden variety depression that everyone gets or something more severe, it makes sense that feeling like complete shit isn't great.. you lack energy to do the things you enjoyed doing, can be unpleasant or even crippling if its sudden onset or having it for awhile, whatever the reasons are, depression sucks. ..

I'm glad you're in a better mood!

Honestly I think about dying every single day. Sometimes not as much, it used to be worse, but I've been starting to want to a little more lately.
I hate how much it interferes with my daily life and relationships. A lot of people have left me because of it. I'm just trying to focus on school and bottle everything up, hoping that the future will be better. There's really nothing else I can do since I have meds and I went to therapy and it didn't work.

Anime helps as dumb as that sounds haha but I've had depression and other mental illnesses since elementary school, so maybe I've just learned to deal with it (or maybe I'm ignoring it when I'm not supposed to)

I honestly don't know (also I love your mgs2 Raiden picture omg)

Yep, I feel like dying every day, but what can I do? The world won't stop, it'll keep going whether I'm on it or not... it sure isn't a really comforting thought.... but it's true.

Well I mean it's not fun

I've been battling it for god know how long. I'm not even sure anymore if I was ever not depressed. Thing is I know that killing myself won't help anything so all I can do is try and move forward; even though I most definitely don't see a light at the end of the tunnel.
