5-10minutes? Pfft you call that bad? Try not lasting a minute without bouncing your leg, rocking, or spinning in your chair. Heck I'm doing it right now as I type.
I don't know what is the min/max of that.
But don't you get anything or what, against it?

It varies depending on how much energy you have. I have ungodly high amounts though lately I have been burning through it like crazy doing some very tiring physical activity plus pokemon go.

Yeah a bunch of "normals" saying me doing that kind of stuff is distracting them despite them supposedly not having ADD/ADHD. Aren't people without ADD suppose to be able to focus?

Then one sad day the call comes in from my aunt crying that my dear cousin was found dead in his van yes went from active bright kid to lost in life junkie.

Fucking drug companies should be held liable and as drug peddlers. I've heard of this a few times myself where i live. Those drugs were gateway drugs to harder stuff.

In all honesty I was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid but my parents didn't want to put me on the medication do to all the negative side effects but maybe I should look into it again I mean I still have ADHD and it has gotten worst over the years lol.

Try caffeine of any of type of drink. Caffeine does help just not as much as medicine.

The medicine has horrible side effects do not take. You should just do something that is great for ADHD people like IT. I'm constantly working on 2-5/tickets at the same time and ADHD works amazing in that situation. Also learn tons of stuff nonstop... Do you know Japanese? Well go learn it by watching 100% Japanese no subtitles mixed with studying! Or go build a catapult because why not!?

OK lol I did try and get into computers I went for a bachelor's degree in computer science. Only thing is I went to a university where we basically had class every single day of the week and no breaks or vacation at all nothing but non stop classes/work. It was one of those schools where you get your degree faster then everyone else or faster then your average school/university but you could imagine my adhd was acting up extremely badly do it, so I had to drop out sadly. I would go back to college/university that wasn't so tough but don't have the money right now to go back sadly.

Then I can agree to that I have learned many and extremely good at a lot of things in all honesty.

I know a little bit and was even teaching myself in all honesty.

Then OK lol.

Edit: forgot to include a few things lol.

Ritalin (Methylphenidate) and Adderall are both Schedule II in the US, which means although they have medical use they have high potential for abuse. Schedule II medications can only be provided at a maximum of a 90-day supply, and refills are not allowed. These medications are already highly restricted, however there is a significant black market for these medications as a "study medicine".

I took Ritalin from 2nd grade to 8th grade, and then stop taking it. High school was a breeze so I didn't need any help with that.

However, uni was really different, and my struggles in concentrating was very apparent. Had to go resume taking Ritalin, and there's some good effect; it gives some increase in concentration and helps me focus in class a bit. I'm not abusing it or anything though, I'm only taking it as directed. I do not get any significant side effects, a minor loss of appetite is all I get.

I took one accelerated summer class and it was horrible. I can't study one thing non-stop without exhaustion kicking in.

Just learn computers on your own. The books are usually 2-4 years outdated by the time they teach you anyways. Then get a shiny piece of paper you can wave at people saying you know computers despite knowing them before hand.

1) I started receiving treatment at the age of 4 or 5 years old
2) I imagine they gave me a dose appropriate for a child my age and modified it as I went on into my teens.
3) I stopped taking my medication at the age of 16 I believe as an act of rebellion haha.
4) I would have loss of appetite and lethargy.
5) I'm currently working on my second degree (Animal Science minor in Communications) at a University. I was confirmed to have ADHD as an Adult but I'm allowed to take the medication at will and only when necessary.
