I recently decided to give manga a try for the first time, and so far I'm really enjoying it. After having read stuff on both the website (using Chrome) and on the android manga app, I have to say that I find the website extremely lacking in terms of features.

What I really like about the android app is that I can 'favourite' various titles, place bookmarks and it's easy to see which chapter I read last in each series. I don't think the website has any of this functionality at all.

It seems like the infrastructure is pretty much there already - when I read stuff on the website, the app knows about it. Are there any plans to add some of these handy features on the website?

They are working on the web reader... /forumtopic-941535 A html5 manga reader beta test announcement months ago for Plus+ members, but since I'm not plus, I don't know if there will be any added features, like queue/bookmarks or not. It might be just the reader engine itself....

Thanks for the reply. It's great to see that something is in the works. I'm not a plus member either, so it'd be useful if someone could tell us what's different about this reader (other than it not using Flash). I'd also love to know the current status of this - I can't find anything recent about it within that Site News forum.

Was wondering this as well. I actually chose CR over another legal anime site because CR has manga. A little dissapointed in its functionality. You'd think it would be very similar to the anime.
IMO for desktop
- The size should stay when going to the next page
- We should be able to queue and rate volumes & titles

For now I guess I'll have to make a page on my profile to keep track of my read manga (?)

I have the same problem. If I choose to read CR manga on my 7" android tablet I can favourite and bookmark to my heart's desire in the app, but if I want to use my 12" Windows 10 laptop (which is just a more pleasant screen) I have to create separate bookmarks in my browser for every title and I can't see my progress, resulting in me flicking through chapters as I'm just being shown the last page of each (so my progress has been tracked). It all just seems so unnecessary. It's a number of small features that the app has, which the browser experience lacks that make a noticable difference in usability. Would honestly love to see those in the website too.
