Episode 7 of Death note is the absolute single best 20 min I've seen in anime.

Honorable mention is the episode ending the Ippo vs Sendo title match in Hajime no ippo.

This episode ^

Especially at the last parts. When the upperclassmen said goodbye. I miss seeing them playing with the team.

Episode 16 of Gurren Lagann is utterly amazing, it being the episode with the amazing battle between Simon and Lordgenome.

Hellsing Ultimate episode 2 is also a favorite of mine, since it features the unforgettable Valentine Brothers.

Episode 13 of K, the first season. This episode has some of the best character development of any one episode. There are so many lines that give so much character development with such few words. It also has a ton of great moments between characters. And the ending... some people think the song is cheesy, but I don't. I really like it. It's obviously using some elements as an homage to the ending of Code Geass (not going to spoil that one either), and the music is definitely part of that. (Also, in Japanese, Lelouch and Suzaku's voice actors are both in it, in the positions that Kallen and C.C. had originally, if you think about it).

Code Geass is my other favorite series, but I don't think there's any one episode that just sums up everything great about it like episode 13 of K does. If I had to pick, episode 16 of season 1 (Nunnally Held Hostage) or episode 8 of season 2 (One Million Miracles). 1.16 because of how well it shows Lelouch and Suzaku's relationship - how they sort of put aside the tension that's been between them the whole time they've been reunited, and show how well they work together... and then in the end, it all just explodes in their faces, and continues to do so for a few episodes after that as circumstances drive them even further apart... but this episode provides something of a calm before the storm (well, as calm as Geass gets, anyway).
2.8 because of how hopeful and peaceful Lelouch's solution to the problem is, and miraculous, as the title says (I love the moment when Ms. Lohmeyer is just like "they can't do that!" and then Rakshata just shows up right at that moment like "Of course we can lol"). Also, what it does with the same trio that 1.16 centered around, who are now really driven apart - even the two that are closer together are driven apart by secrets and lies. But the events of this episode show where their hope lies, and what stands in the way of that... being vague to avoid spoilers, but I hope this means something to someone, or that you consider it next time you watch these episodes ^_^;

Probably the one that I can always watch without feeling disgusted with myself is the fight between Naruto and Sasuke pre shippuden
We were all waiting for it and it finally happened and it was great

Episode 25 of Trigun is my long-time favorite. If I were to pick an episode that carries less nostalgia, it would have to be episode 6 of Magimoji Rurumo. Honorable mention to episode 13 of Welcome to the NHK. Each of these episodes has heavy emotional impact, so I guess I'm a sucker for those types of scenes.

Akame Ga Kill! Episode 2, meeting night raid emulates the kind of feeling of how little kids feel when they meet their favorite heroes, lol.
Berserk Episode 21, that was utter beauty as the emotional beans get spilled and it just feels so redeeming.
ReLife episode 13!
Hmm..there's plenty more, but those are truly memorable.

Episode 10 of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It reveals the origins of magical girl Homura Akemi. That one episode can completely change your opinion of her. The episode reveals the true plot, and puts everything that happened before into a new perspective. It even explains the opening theme of the show, which doesn't seem to match the other episodes very well.

Thats a good episode of GL, but I think I prefer episode 11, when Simon breaks everyone out of the underground trap and gives his "I'm me" speech and everyone is just in awe of him.

Episode 10 of DRAMAtical Murder, where we find out Mink's backstory. I don't really understand why, but I can't stop thinking about it even though it's been months since I watched the anime. (Maybe because it finally gave me some small amount of justification for being attracted to the most divisive main character in the series... )

Episode 6 of Monster Musume. Because reasons.

Also, really any episode of Diabolik Lovers (first season) that features Kanato as one of the main characters. I love how he manages to stand out as spectacularly psycho even among his cruel brothers.

Not a single episode has stuck with me more than Cowboy Bebop's last episode, "The Real Folk Blues, Part II."
