I worked on a farm before and after my time in Afghanistan. Does that count?

My family owns a farm in Mexico though I don't have any memories of me living in Mexico I probably was raised there for some time

I was....kinda, I really wouldn't say my parent's house was a farm, though growing up I did raise animals such as sheep, goats, cows, and chickens. We lived on the outskirts of a small town, so they had a lot of property. There was no barn, but we did have animal pens and what not.

My family has a few farms, and I've been to them several times when I was younger, but I don't think that could count as being raised on a farm...

We had many goats and water buffalo though.

I grew up in a farming family and spent most of my childhood on an acreage. I never actually grew up as a 100% farmers kid though. By the time I would've been old enough to have started doing real farm work my Grandpa retired, and my Dad was also looking to get out of the business so we sold off our land.

Of course, the two of them still found ways to keep my brother's and I busy with yard work until we moved to the small town we live in now, so I like to think I have some experience with hard outdoors work. I still consider myself a farmer's kid, and I'll always consider the rural dwellers of southern Saskatchewan to be my people.

I like how you claimed all the farmers as your friends.

Yeah, I grew up on a small one. Had the cattle sold by the time I was 12 so after that it was just regular acreage living for me. Helped out with branding at an uncles farm each time the year rolled around to that.
