Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, we've got some exciting news for everyone, particularly Yu-Gi-Oh! GX fans as we start adding the long-awaited Season 4 (subbed) to Crunchyroll!

For the first time ever, season 4 is now legally subbed and available for fans to watch!

Set several years after the previous Yu-Gi-Oh! series, GX follows a new generation of duelists at the prestigious Duel Academy—a highly competitive boarding school where pencils and books have been replaced by Duel Disks and monster cards! Still, it’s not just about making the grade for these up and coming students – it’s about becoming the next King of Games!

Get started with Episode 156, and be on the lookout as we add 4 episodes every week* for the next few weeks!

You either have Javascript turned off or an old version of Flash Player.

Speaking of Yu-Gi-Oh!, don't forget that we are continuing to add more subbed episodes of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series every month!

Territories for both series are the same as the previous episodes of subbed Yu-Gi-Oh!: WORLDWIDE except for Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa (Western), Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Italy, San Marino and Vatican City.

*every week that there is not a new batch of Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes. Schedule may vary.

That's great news, but it would be even nicer if all the original (Duel Monsters) episodes were available at once, rather than being released at a rate of a handful every month. At this pace, it will be another 2 1/2 years before I'm caught up to watch the GX series.

Yeah, the different release schedules for the multiple series make it inconvenient to watch the series chronologically. Rather than watch it in the proper order of Yu-Gi-Oh! -> GX -> 5D's the current availability more or less forces you to watch it in reverse order of 5D's -> GX -> Yu-Gi-Oh!.

One question,

Are the characters and cards names in the subtitles match more with the Japanese names or the English names? If its the English names, I would like that. Mostly because myself and I think a lot people too are more familiar with English names than the Japanese names.(Though I could be wrong about that.)

If it is like the other seasons here, Japanese character names but cards use the official English tcg names.

I have seen fansubbed versions of GX years ago that used the English character names, it just sounds weird when you hear Judai and "Jaden" appears or Manjoume and "Chazz".

I get what your saying, I'm just saying that a lot of people just know the characters by the English names and nothing else. Also didn't the descriptions of the 5D's episodes here use the English names.

Speaking of English name in subtitles while hearing the Japanese names, Shout Factory did that for their release if the Transformers G1 Animes.

Wish season zero could be up on here soon, since it's never been licensed in English yet
