I didn't even think of a third option. This is actually a good option. Come to think of it, i have been a follower, never really a leader but i probably am neither currently.

Why not be both? Why choose?

Neither. I can be a good leader, provided I fight my tendency to do everything myself. People around me consider me to be a leader type, and my fellow programmer co-workers think I will be their boss someday. But I won't, because leading is a pain in the arse. It is too much hassle. Following can also be rather irritating. Fortunately, I'm able to be fairly independent.

I prefer to do the grunt work, so typically follower. I'll pick up the lead on something if the initiative is taken, but I am more satified with the accomplishment than the process of coordinating people.

if neither is an option than neither.

I do my own thing at my own rhythm.

Agreed.

I'd rather be a loner and follow my own path. If someone stumbles along after me that's cool, but I always try to go my own way.

I'm a follower when it comes to paper work. I'm a leader when it comes to words.

Follower all the fucking way, although the "leadership" role from time to time is very tempting to take. I would do jackshit as a leader, and I would probably yell at other people a lot and/or just do nothing in the group (which is why I'm not very fond of teamwork and working in groups of 3 or more in general).

I personally would rather slide in behind the success of a good leader. I'd prefer that while making bad jokes and keeping the people happy.

Unfortunately, people have always lined up behind me and asked me to lead the way. So...I'm always responsible for my personal group. I have to find an activity, I have to set dates and times, and I have to figure out what to eat.

So really, leadership is quite tiresome.

A follower. I don't want the responsibilities of a leader.
